Fulfillment Stage Stuff
I've just sent surveys out to you all to gather email addresses and whatever other information I need to send you your rewards.
You'll be getting a password to download the audiobook from my website. If your backer level includes ebooks, you'll get a password for those, too.
While you're at my website, you can also download a free short story ebook, "The Enemy in Snowmelt Season," by signing up for my email list. Note that I'm not assuming support of the Kickstarter campaign necessarily means you also want to get occasional emails from me about other stuff in perpetuity. I'd love to keep all of you in the loop about whatever writing adventure comes next -- I just want to make sure you opt in first.
If your survey doesn't arrive, or if there's a problem with the survey, please message me. If you send a reply and then need to amend the information, likewise.
If you plan to attend the World Fantasy Convention in two weeks and you're amenable to being handed your reward items in person, please let me know. I'd love to hang out with any of you while I'm there.
It was lovely to spend time with the backers who were at Capclave last weekend. People who saw the trade paperbacks there said things like, "This can't be a self-published book -- it's too beautiful!" and "If that's what a Kickstarter project looks like for you, why would you do anything else?" So I'm pretty confident that people getting rewards by mail will be happy with what you unwrap when your books arrive.
As I mentioned in Update 22, there have been some complications in getting copies of Tales from Rugosa Coven for backers who selected them among their rewards. There's progress on that issue, but it's not yet completely resolved. My apologies for delays on fulfillment for everybody who's affected there.
I'm hoping to finish most or all of the manuscript feedback rewards between now and the New Year. If you're giving that manuscript feedback as a holiday gift, then of course I will be happy to wait and work with your recipient on scheduling.
I think that's all for now. Questions and suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks again for all your support!
