The setting of the story was inspired by Cthulhu Mythos, The Sixth Chaos's background is established in the nameless void.
The rules here are chaotic, reality is mixed with dreams, which it will be unable to distinguish the differences.
There are 5 different world themes in the game, which you'll be able to explore and experience all 5 different stories.
Each theme represents a single story with their own levels.
You'll find out the truth in these bewildering levels with unique imageries.
Story - the orphanage
One boy, one orphanage.
Something terrifying happened in the darkness.
However, under the influence of unknown forces, the worst horror has been forgotten by the world.
Story - the novelist
An unsuccessful novelist, a mysterious town away from the hubbub.
In this very town, the novelist acquired something extraordinary.
After that, his new book was an unprecedented success, however himself was caught in the unspeakable madness.
Story - chaotic void
Unknown void, the chaotic can't be described by words.
A kind of force implements it's evil plan here.
A crisis unbeknown to the world has quietly came.
We only introduce 3 stories here because we don't want to spoil it all.
More stories will be in the final release of the game.
- Simple platformer controls
All you need to do is jump, pick up objects and interact with objects.
No complex input, no tedious tutorials.
However this doesn't means the game is simple.
There are many obstacles which will test your skill.
And there will be puzzles to challenge your intellect.
The following is the pre-alpha footage of our game, you can take a look and see the level design with the puzzles live in action.
At first glance, some might immediately think of Limbo or some other games with similar graphic style.
And our artwork was indeed inspired by these games with similar paper cut silhouette style.
We like this kind of style with simple tone and beauty of haziness.
So we decided to use this technique in our game, and make the most suitable adjustments dedicated to our game.
Depends on each world theme, we planned appropriate artwork design to fully show the atmosphere of the story, making the background and the senses feel just right.
- Immersive narration
5 different world themes with their own unique original stories.
Stories will emerge while you play, revealing the background happened in these worlds.
Explore the levels to get the whole picture of the stories.
When you complete the game, these seemingly unrelated stories will lead you to the hidden truth behind the whole game.
Music is also an important part of the game.
Great theme music can very well enhance the immersion of the gaming experience.
So we invited a musician to specifically tailored the music for this game.
We want players to enjoy the game even more with the music.
We would like to know that the community likes our game.
Currently there are 3 of us working full-time on producing this game.
We have done self-funding for quite some time to make this game.
But our game still hasn't finished yet, and we need more help.
We truly want to complete our work and make it available for our audience.
Meanwhile, we know the game like this is hard to find a publisher(especially in Taiwan), or investors.
Besides we don't want to be interfered by someone who wants to make sure he can recover his investments and force us to change our game.
So the indie is the only viable way for us, to face the community directly, looking for support from the crowds who admire our work.
Last but not least, our mission doesn't stop here.
We want to establish a studio that can continually produce many interesting games with quality, this game is just our first step.
There are many different plans ahead of us.
Today you help us to successfully taken this very first step, is to give us a chance to bring more quality game for the community in the future.

If we can actually raise more than $40000, we'll seeking opportunity to publish our game on PS4 / Xbox1 / PS Vita.
But this would requires help from Sony & Microsoft, as we need license and console development kits to develop on these consoles.
We can't guarantee we'll have these required resources.
So currently we'll focus our strength on PC.
Of course, if console manufacturers are willing to give us a chance, we're happy to release our game on consoles.

Majestic Spirit was founded in July 2013 by 3 game enthusiasts.
We were in the MMO game industry in Taiwan for 4~8 years.
As the former employees of game industry in our country, we weren't that much into the way they were aiming towards to mobile apps and the IAP business model.
We decided to be indie, to make games that can really attach to players, bring real fun to them instead of just focusing on how to pick their pocket for every penny.
So here we are, the Majestic Spirit.
So far we spent a great effort to push our project onto Kickstarter.
We sincerely hope our game can be accepted by community.
We want to let community know that there are a small bunch of people are working hard to achieve our goal.
Our goal is to make game that we'll love from the bottom of our heart.
The Sixth Chaos is just the beginning.

Our system is about 70% completed so far.
Levels are 45% completed.
While we are running our campaign on Kickstarter, we are producing the remaining contents simultaneously.

Because there're only 3 main developers, it's possible to have delays.
Due to diseases, accident, natural disasters or family factors.
But don't worry, we'll try our best to ensure all members are in excellent condition.
Put any risk to minimal.
3. Focus our strength
We are a small team, therefore you could notice that we provide only digital rewards.
This is because we don't have enough manpower to plan and produce physical rewards
We want to focus our strength on developing games to provide you the best quality.
The current rewards are the best we can do with our limited numbers.
Because of our limited budget, we have to make a balance between graphics, rich contents and development costs.
As long as we get more funding from Kickstarter, there will be more things we can do, bring you even better experince of the game.
And don't worry, even if we only raised $10000, we'll still do our best to bring you the best game in our capability.
