It's Time For A #BringBackGothamist Food & Drink Tour
All week some of our favorite NYC businesses have been announcing Gothamist-named menu items you can get around town to spread the word about our Kickstarter campaign.
Planning on celebrating reaching our goal in three days by devouring one yourself? Tag your photos on Twitter and Instagram with #BringBackGothamist.
Here's where you can find them:
ALIDORO (18 East 39th Street, between 5th & Madison)
One of our favorite sandwich makers, Walter Momentè, came up with this creation to help us promote our Kickstarter. It's called "the Gothamist" (of course) and it's stuffed with Prosciutto de Parma, Fresh Burrata, Lemon Basil Pesto, Sun-dried tomato spread & Torn basil leaf ($16). The sandwich will only be available during our Kickstarter campaign, so you've got 28 more days to get over there. Tip: get it on the Focaccia or Tramezzino bread.
DUN-WELL DOUGHNUTS (102 St Marks Pl and 222 Montrose Ave)
Dunwell Doughnuts has this Gothamist treat on the menu: a caramel glazed doughnut dusted with crushed graham cracker and drizzled in chocolate. Pick it up for $2.50 (and it's vegan, so it's a very healthy doughnut.)
SOFIA PIZZA SHOPPE (989 1st Ave)
Sofia Pizza Shoppe (home to that $38 monster pie) has a #GothamistSlice on their menu. It's topped with spinach dip (again, very healthy!). Pick up a slice or seven over the next 28 days, and remember to tag those photos #BringBackGothamist.
INDUSTRY CITY DISTILLERY (33 35th St #6A, Brooklyn)
And finally, wash all of these Gothamist items down with a cocktail that Industry City Distillery concocted "the Gothamist" is available all weekend, and features Industry Standard Vodka, fresh lime juice, agave syrup and jalapeño... because, we're told, "we miss y'alls spicy takes on NYC happenings."
Thank you for all of your support as we work to #BringBackGothamist, and please spread this link to our Kickstarter all over the five boroughs.
