My Story   

Hi, My name is Chris and I'm the creator of the webcomic Lunarbaboon. Perhaps you have seen it on the internet....

 I began the comic in 2012 as a form of therapy for some depression and anxiety I was dealing with. The original comics were drawn in a small moleskin notebook, which I never intended to show to anyone. This allowed me to be extremely honest about my day to day dealings with my family and other people I met. Over time I discovered that although my comics were unique to me they dealt with thoughts,ideas, and issues that so many other people were dealing with. 

 This collection of comics from year two contains some of my favorites. During this year, the comic really came into its own. Within this volume you will find comics that will make you smile, laugh, and occasionally whimper. Hopefully though when you have finished you will hug those near you a little tighter...unless you are on public transit. Please don't hug strangers on public transit.

 I have set the goal at $12,000 because based on my calculations it is roughly what I will need to pay for the books, shipping/handling, and my Kickstarter fees. It is a modest goal and if I reach it I won't be making any monetary gains. I will just have a whole lot of books. Remember your credit card will not be charged if I don't reach my goal. Soooo, take a gamble, pledge a lot of money, show you're a good person, and secretly hope I don't reach my goal.

When will I get my book? If my book gets funded it should take about 8 to 10 weeks for me to get the copies. Then about 4 more weeks for me to get them to you. I put a loose February 2016 as the delivery date. Think of it as a belated holiday gift during those dark post Christmas days.

 No matter what you decide to pledge, know that I am extremely grateful for your support. I promise to continue making comics for you as long as the ideas are good. Thanks again.
