Son home from hospital ... shipping plans to wrap up the rewards shipping
I wanted to start by thanking everyone for their patience while I've had to be gone so much while my oldest son was in hospital care for these last several months. It pained me to have one of my KickStarter so delayed in shipping, but I needed to be there for him.
This is the first Monday I have been home for at least 3 months. Feels weird and I keep expecting my phone to ring and tell me there is a new emergency.
But the phone is not ringing and I will pray that is the case. My son is home now from the hospital and they really believe this time that he should stay that way. There is a case of relapse but it is small enough that the hospital staff told me we should finally be able to get some sleep at night without wondering what new life threatening event happened during the night. Its a good feeling but at the same time ... I'm a bit nervous to really believe it is all over.
Okay that all said. A lot of you need your rewards for this KickStarter which unfortunately was delayed because I was the only one with enough knowledge of the product to try and insure that the teams are properly assembled and go out right the first shipment since it will bankrupt Impact! if we have to ship everyone replacement parts.
I have looked at what backers still need their rewards this morning and have timed myself for getting the rewards put together and a realistic plan is that I can have all rewards shipped out by the end of May now that I am home.
So that you know if everything is on schedule or not ... I will login in each Friday morning to the comments section and let everyone know if we are ahead/on/behind schedule so that you can have constant feedback if everything should ship by the end of May.
It was never my hope or plan that this KickStarter would be extended so badly. A mix of the complexity of the KickStarter mixed with my son multiple month hospital recovery put it into a place that I would have prevented if I knew how. I can only offer my most sincere apologies that we ended up in this position and will make sure I keep the comments updated and make the end of May delivery end as real as possible.
When your package ships you should receive an email from email@example.com via Stamps.com with a tracking number for your reward.
Okay ... time to get packing.
