FREDRIC BROWN'S MARTIANS, GO HOME
ABOUT SEQUENTIAL PULP COMICS, LLC:
My name is Michael Hudson, owner of the boutique graphic novel publishing company, Sequential Pulp Comics, LLC. You may know of our books through Dark Horse Comics. We produced the critically acclaimed and commercially successful The Halloween Legion: The Great Goblin Invasion that was on the short list for Stan Lee's Excelsior Awards. We also produced a wonderfully atmospheric The Hound of the Baskervilles and Steve Bryant's Athena Voltaire Compendium that was up for an award in the 2015 Harvey's. However, our biggest successes have been with our licensed Edgar Rice Burroughs' properties, Jungle Tales of Tarzan and At The Earth's Core.
We've recently broken our relationship with Dark Horse Comics in a mutually amicable way to begin the journey of publishing our own books under the Sequential Pulp Comics imprint. Fredric Brown's Martians, Go Home scripted by Martin Powell, illustrated by Lowell Isaac, and lettered by David Hopkins will be the first solo graphic novel. If we are successful in this venture, we have many more projects in the works that we want to bring to you.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Fredric Brown's Martians,Go Home is a 112 page full color graphic novel that has been licensed by the Fredric Brown Estate. It contain an Introduction by legendary science fiction artist, Vincent Di Fate and an Afterword by the equally famous author, Barry N. Malzberg. It also contains a twelve page art gallery by our illustrator, Lowell Isaac.
The book is complete and ready to go to press. It will be solicited in the June edition of Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog.
At 6.62 x 10.18 inches, the books will be exactly like the Dark Horse Comics/Sequential Pulp books, printed by the same press used by Marvel and DC, featuring a gloss-lay flat laminated cover with interior pages on 70 lb. coated gloss paper sewn perfect bound.
Martians have invaded Earth! That’s right, real Martians. Seriously. Suddenly, without warning, one billion Little Green Men are everywhere. The Martians are on your street, and in your house, all of them knowing your deepest and darkest secrets. Untouchable as ghosts and obnoxious as hell, their sinister agenda remains a mystery. Perhaps, their plan is simply to drive the entire human race insane, for that is exactly what they’re doing.
From flop house to the White House, no one is above, or below, the torment of the alien invaders. All is lost. Or, is it?
Only our unlikely hero Luke Devereaux, a burnt-out science fiction writer with nothing left to lose, knows how to defeat the Martians…but he has already lost his mind!
You won’t think of alien contact in the same way, ever again.
Here are a few sample pages from the book.
Just for kicks, I thought maybe you'd like to see our artist, Lowell Isaac, at his art table.

Risks and challenges
This project is complete in every detail and is only awaiting the June solicitation in Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog. We have our account set up with the premier printer being used by both Marvel and DC and they are waiting on our final numbers to print.
Honestly, I don't know of any risks beyond those that are completely beyond human control but we are expecting none of those.
Some of you may know that this licensed project has taken me eight long years to finally get it to print. I know we have a winner in Fredric Brown's Martians, Go Home. I am so excited to share it with you! I hope you will help me in meeting the printing costs by supporting this Kickstarter. Thanks...Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
