FUNDED!!!

Posted by Zhiping Chen & Daniel Aharoni (Creator)
Last night we hit our funding goal! Over the past 3 weeks we have gained almost 800 backers pledging over 820 Spinpods and 200 Dolly Systems.

Reaching our Kickstarter goal with a week to go is better than anything we could have expected and this is all thanks to our amazing backers! We can't express how excited we are that we will now be able to make our dream a reality and put a Spinpod into the hands of each of you!

After passing 100% we can now aim towards our stretch goals. Along with a 5th backer picked color option, we are looking into adding extra accessories: a carrying pouch, extra mounting adapter, extended battery, bubble level. If we increase our funding a bit more we will be able to include most if not all of these as free add-ons for every Spinpod.

Completely off topic, Zhiping threw a BBQ this weekend and used his Spinpod to take a group photo. There is no better way to record memories with family and friends!

Also, here is a panoramic picture of the Hollywood Hills we took from the top of the L.A. Film School. Click here to zoom in and check out the Hollywood sign.

Thanks again for all the support and lets start unlocking these stretch goals!

@Daren, If we are able to upgrade to the extended battery it will just replace the current size battery we are using now. You won't be able to swap out the battery yourself. Right now the battery can run the Spinpod continuously for 10 hours in panoramic mode and about 100 hours in timelapse mode. If we upgrade the battery we would be looking to double those numbers.

In actuality, the current battery is more than enough. We use our Spinpods constantly and barely ever have to charge them. I think the average person will charge their Spinpod once a month.

      Thanks for the question.

how does the extended battery work? is the battery in the spinpod swappable?
