Yes, that can be confusing.
Lexip has been in R&D for ten years because it’s a pretty hard product to put up together compared to other mice - hard calibration miniaturized joysticks, soft touch surface treatments and complex assembling required a lot of work. In 2013 the 3dm pro was released for professional design software only. But we were still not happy with it, while having no more funds to make it better. We retired it from market. Since then the company got new investors, a new automated factory, funds to get Lexip’s R&D finished… and a new boss (Lionel Chataignier) who is a gamer.
Lexip is now gaming-oriented and way stronger than the original 3dm pro.
Yes we have a left handed version!
And we'll reach you again directly to ask you on the backer survey post campaign completion if you are a left or right handers this way you'll be able to tell us directly depending on what you want :) Note that left-handed units still require some work and will ship in October-November instead of June.
We 100% agree (obviously) that joysticks are more logical than the current button frenzy. That's why we designed each joystick to be usable as 4 individual buttons for those who wish so. This also allows you to control keyboard-only games!
We deliver with Amazon, who assured us that there would be no additional fees with delivery. We’ve double checked with both Amazon and other companies that have worked with them. Of course if anyone has worked with Amazon or backed a project using this system feel free to give us feedback!
