I'm interested in raising funds to cover the distribution fees and copyright fees for my new album, "Integrate."
I've been recording the music on this album for more than two years and it is my most diverse and best produced album to date. It includes my best guitar, bass, and vocal performances to date. One song, "Epic Daydream," even has a large orchestra in it.
I did go over my $0 budget in the recording process, so I'm hoping to raise more than the $250 goal to subsidize that. I will set stretch goals for music videos and other rewards if/when it comes close to being funded.
For those not already familiar with my music, much of the music on this album could be classified as old school heavy metal, but there are tracks on this particular album that could be classified as progressive rock, new age, and even urban pop. My influences include Judas Priest, Accept, Iron Maiden, Dio, Dokken, Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Van Halen, Joe Satriani etc. I'm sort of known for an unconventional frenetic guitar style. The vocals are clear and melodic and the lyrics on this particular album go from meaningful and quite moving, to silly and fun. To illustrate, here are a few music videos with tracks from this album:
There is also lots of music at my Reverb Nation profile and at You Tube that you can listen to for free:
Thanks for your consideration of my project!
Risks and challenges
To fulfill the rewards to the backers, I'll need to get T-shirts made, photos produced, and streaming and download website set up. The funding will cover that and postage to send the rewards as well as manufacturing the CDs. Since the music is ready, the risk seems manageable.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
