What is People Versus Politics?
People Versus Politics is a new card game for people who have had just about enough of American politics and government screw-ups! Our game aims to take some of the frustrations and dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs and turn it into a funny enjoyable card game much like Apples to Apples and the adult version Cards Against Humanity.
People Versus Politics can be played by itself or integrated with a Cards Against Humanity® deck or similar games. Be sure to support our launch on Kickstarter and get this funded before the CIA shuts us down!
The point of this game is to inspire political based conversation. Politics is a topic that people tend to not want to talk to their friends about. With our game we aim to break that barrier among friends. Some people feel our game is offensive and racist. While some of the topics touch on these issues the overall goal is to create dialogue so that the topics can be discussed further. Over the course of making this game with friends we have had more political based conversations because of these cards than we have had with each other over the course of our entire lives. Even if you don’t agree with our subject matter we hope it opens a dialogue between you and those close to you about issues that are rarely talked about.
Playing The Game: So Easy A Senator Could Do It!
1. One player will read aloud a black card while all other players will submit their best white answer cards.
2. The player that read the black card then picks the best white card answer and the person that played that white card wins that round!
3. You win by having the most white cards picked over the course of the game!
Will the cards fit in with my other decks?
Absolutely! Our cards are the same dimensions as your existing Cards Against Humanity style cards (2.5"x3.5" with rounded corners.). They will therefore seamlessly integrate with your existing deck(s) and any other expansion sets you may have!
When will I receive my cards?
As the cards have all been designed and preview decks already made all we need to do is send them off to the printers. We will be working with Print Ninja a company stationed in America but prints overseas. The printing of our order should take about 3 months to print and ship overseas. The product should be in your hand ready to go just when the 2016 election is about to go down in November!
So why do we need $4,800?
Creating your own card game is expensive! We thought about self funding, or looking into getting a small business loan but in order to have the cards printed on professional quality card stock from a trusted business we need to buy a minimum 500 unit order. The price for that was just too far out of our price range.

If we meet our goal of $4,800 we will have enough to place our first 500 unit order with PrintNinja and see our dream become a reality! By backing us on Kickstarter you will be the very first to receive our new game upon arrival, as well as being privileged to behind the scenes info about the process of how this game is being made and special bonuses for future expansions. Every dollar counts so whatever you can give is appreciated, and of course be sure to share with your friends!
Our deck is currently 125 cards total, 32 black cards and 93 white cards. If we reach our stretch goals more will be added.

Risiken und Herausforderungen
We have a deal in place to produce the cards through PrintNinja one of the top card game producers in the world. The cards while not affiliated with Cards Against Humanity have been cleared by them so no issues on that part. The only real issue that may arise is variations in transit time as they will be produced overseas and shipped to the United States.

People Versus Politics cards have been designed to be played with your existing Cards Against Humanity deck. You don't necessarily need to already own CAH to enjoy these cards, however you'll probably have more fun when you combine our expansion with the original cards.

Our cards are designed to cover topics that will be important long after the U.S. 2016 election is over. We do have a few Trump/Hillary cards, but most deal with issues like ISIS, Democrat on Republican hate sex, and other fun topics!

Sheesh calm down! We don't hate America, we just wanted to take the frustration surrounding the political system in America and give it a fun twist. In short we want to make American games great again!
