Start the game and having a hard time finding a fire arm? Don't fret it we are introducing customized weapon assets into the game. For instance you may have just found an old pipe, some old shoe laces, and some large shards of glass, or even barbed wire or a broken knife blade! The new customization tool that will be built into the game will allow you to take these useless scraps of materials and make a nasty looking melee weapon and depending on the combination depends on the damage of the weapon that it deals to both Nap's/AI and the players themselves! So be creative there's no wrong way to do it! Create a rock on a rope and bash your Enemies face in! Its up to you!

No Dayz Later is a First person Shooter multi-player, online zombie apocalypse survivor game. The entire game is based on the end days of earth after a bio-organic weapon got into the wrong hands and was launched at Russia! It infected the entire Middle East area, and soon spreads to the rest of the world; pushing man kind to the edge of extinction. Food, medical supplies, water and safety are now scarce as you fight your way to survive what's left of the world!
We are proud to join the over 1200 successfully funded Kick starter projects with the independent efforts of others here on kick starter .We will be very grateful for all the support and look forward to bringing you the kind of MOM FPS games that we all love to play. The fans of this game have opened our eyes to the direct relationship with the gamer's in the Development stage of this game. And we are listening to any ideas they have, and any ideas you have,because its not just about what we feel is a fun game, Its what you, and our fans feel will be a fun game!.

If were to just sit back on the couch with no drive to work on this game and wait to begin the design work for the massive scale MOM FPS game until after our programmers have completed their work... Our budget would Dramatically increase by 75% or more Putting us in dept with our self's!
Why didn't we just Lay back and chill? Well it would start a process that we don't want to happen! And that's the hiring and firing process with in our companies team! We want to break that and keep our great team together! Because such a great game as this one could not happen with out a great team like we have here at Demented Productions! And it deferentially couldn't happen with out the support of you guys out here!
We love the work our team does, and their Passion for this game! So it would make no essence for us to begin work No Dayz Later after or programmers were finished wrather than Now! We feel this is going to be the BEST process in the placement stage and it allows us to bring you the best MOM FPS game we have to present to you our greatly loved backers! And we want to Eliminate any Concerning question about delivering you the best Apocalypse game you will ever play!
We started out as just me and Joe and after doing so looking and digging we are now almost a full team of 7 members working day and night on this game. Its Been exhausting but well worth it for how far we have come. Every one on the team has a job and we assigned these jobs based on the specialties that we are more comfortable working on! Making the game development less stressful and a lot more fun!

3 years of Developing experience, Starting as artist on 32-bit computers.I first started In Kailua Kona Hawaii I took College classes on Video game development for some extra Credits in school, and I loved It so much I decided to make my own game. I never published it it was just for fun. I used Game maker,to develop simple Scroll map game and It was a blast! So I thought to my self hey I'm having so much fun making these little minor projects! Why not gather up some techies I Know and lets make a huge Game! And it brings us here to day! Almost 4 years later!
Joe Programmer/Script writer
We use a program called Mono Develop to produce the scripts that run every thing we need to happen in the game, as well as its helps us properly render the animations needed for Animals, dust, Light rays, Sun flares, Direction lighting ext. With out his job we could not create our main menu that you can view below. Joe has came up with the script called a GUI Click script it basically tells the game that if the mouse collides with the GUI text on the screen, then it should act on such in our menu if we were to click the survival button it will load the next menu allowing us to select either Return to main menu, new game, or load save. We have provided a video of the menu below!
We apologize about the Super intense light given off by the GUI Words on the screen in the menu. The camera for some reason didn't focus right and we could not fix the problem we made at least 40 different attempts with different approaches to correct the issue. The GUI Text says Survival, and Exit!
The script Joe would like to show you is Really simple! He came up with it in Minutes and this script he developed is used to play the sound when the mouse button clicks the GUI Text on the main menu! Called GUI Click script! This Script allows an Audio to be played when the mouse clicks the GUI Text. And the other Scripts he developed allowed the lights to give off a really nice effect to appear as if the were Surging on and off.
Map designer and sketch artist for different Designs of the Terrain/ map in the game. This is how the map is laid out before any textures or models I design and develop are added, if there are rivers in the map he designs the unique look how wide how deep, The twist and curves in the river, how fast the water should move ex. As well as he works with Michael as a partner team in Designing the Shaders and Image effects. He has a Picture of Some Height map he developed in Photo shop ,Z brush ,Maya and many other useful programs we have current access to!Dustin also does hand sketched art that we use as a template to design various Models and scene's in the game!
Dustin has sketched a scene Idea that we loved so much we actually included all of his work into the main menu scene and just added the different light effects and sound effects for the menu scene!
Armour a London base award winning music composer, He has worked on a number of indie video-games and films. No days left will give Charlie the opportunity to compose dark and unique scores which he loves composing.Charlie Came on board the team just recently I received a rather interesting email from him about wanting to compose some audio sound track music for the game. We already had an Audio sound effect artist ,but we still needed Music for the game that matches the theme! And thankfully Charlie popped in the picture even though he is Miles away we have already established a connection between him and the team! And we love his impressing work so far!
Charlie has also lived with Zombies just to prepare himself for the game and hope everyone loves the game!!!

Michael is our 2nd Sketch artist This job is one of the MOST IMPORTANT part of our game in its development stage. The artist here will sketch out the textures to be assigned to the terrain buildings zombies characters and animals as well as the cars, road, grass, trees, and other vegetation! The textures are produced in Photo shop, Gimp, Maya, And blender. As well as Z brush. After the textures are finished I (James) will then apply the textures to the proper Material associated with the model its should be assigned to. Last but not least He is Required to design and develop the Image effects, such as Image based lighting, Reflection, refraction and refraction Ex. Michael has A few things he would like to share.
The menu wall with the Text help me written in blood was first composed by Dustin in a charcoal drawing Michael then brought that image to life with one of his many Skills in using the varies programs we have available!
The next two Textures were composed in Photoshop with Michael as well one is of the image before he applied the bump mapping to the image and the 2nd is the final Amazing result after bump mapping has been applied!
Katie 3d and 2d sound effect developer
Has chosen a field in the job she is best at ,Audio source development. She designs all of the audio in the game you should hear based on what's happening in the game. If your by some zombies they should be giving off a certain audio sound based on the distance you are if you are close enough to Hear their moans and growls then you the gamer should be able to hear these sounds. She produced the audio music and other collision sound effects in the game as well such as heavy breathing associated with the player while he/ she may be running. Gun shots and sounds of bullets Bouncing off other objects in the game.
Shayden 18 years of age.
The youngest of the grouper his skills have impressed us all. Even though the models and animations for animated game objects in the game Are not yet complete he has still yet to fail in amazing us all. We will be giving some sneak peaks in the future updates displaying the animated finished result of those models So stay tuned ! :) Animation Developer Shay den Has taken on the roll of Designing and producing the finished rendered animations applied to a particular game object with the required script Joe produces,So that the object will behave in the proper manner. For example if you want the zombie you shot to fall over when it dies, or if you shoot one in the head the and the head is head supposed to explode, then you need the animation for these actions as well as the scripts to apply the behavior when its supposed to

So what will your funds do for us when we Upgrade the software we use? Well it will allow us to take what we have now as far as rendering effects and Boost it to the best quality effects we have to offer! I mean if your heart is pounding because your being chased by horde of dead than wouldn't you think you should able to hear and see your character react in the same manner?

1.) Fire arm Weapons are rare in the game,But every backer that pledges to this reward will receive a starter fire arm weapon with 4 clips of ammo!
2.) You will also receive A large bag 12 slots, a hunting knife,fire wood,water bottle that's refillable, 2 M Re's for food and a map of the game! Now the map will only be available with this expansion only offered to our backers! Now the best part about this expansion is after you die if you die you don't start over from scratch these items will be in your inventory every time you start over! Giving you a small upper hand!
Risks and challenges
Completion: The challenge to complete/finish the game.
Compounding: The challenge compounds as the player progresses in the plot.
Ultimatum: The initial challenge is too great for the player to take on so the player must gain ability by playing through the game.
Every game presents a risk factor, which is - if the challenge is lost then there is a negative consequence and if the challenge is won then there is a reward. The topics of reward and loss are discussed below.
Tangential reward: A reward that has nothing to do with the eventual completion of the game. These rewards can be things such as cut-scenes that are cool or even unlocking new modes and mini-games.
Compounding reward: A reward that builds on itself. This could be defined as score, or even completion of a level. Therefore the value of the compounding reward increases each time it is attained. These rewards can be completion of a level (which compounds into the completion of the game) or even score.
Calculating reward Reward is calculated by the difficulty of the challenge plus the effort given
The loss is the negative consequence of failing the challenge; it can be anything from loss score, to a game over.
Tangential loss: A loss that has nothing to do with the eventual completion of the game. Maybe you lose an item that was fun but had nothing to do with winning the game.
