Our names are Phoebe Jeurissen (Producer) and Harriett Maire (Director), we are in our final year of a Bachelor of Communications degree. We are both majoring in television and screen production. This is our final project that we submit before we graduate.
We need help with funding to make this film the best it can be.
People on the autism spectrum are not widely represented in film and television. We wish to change this with our short film about Anna. It is important to acknowledge that this film will not be a sob story: Anna is not a victim.
This will be a genuine, honest story about how people on the spectrum cope with unplanned changes to their day. Anna's condition is made easier by her ability to control the little details of her day, because these give her a sense of regularity. So when someone unintentionally upsets her morning routine by sitting on her seat on the bus, her day is sent spinning out of control.
Your funding will be put towards the production costs of hiring a bus ($350), renting locations, feeding cast and crew and generating a high production value.
Risks and challenges
We're aiming to send out the rewards after the film is completed, so there is nothing distracting us from making the best film we can.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
