ATOMIC ROBO: LAST STOP. Seeking funds to finish an animated short based on the award winning Indie comic Atomic Robo.
1,143 backers pledged $72,941 to help bring this project to life.

BEHOLD!!

We tried to keep Robo’s Kickstarter campaign quiet... but he found out.

Since you all turned out in force to support this project by smashing through what we asked for to finish our 12 minute animated short, we’ve decided to up the ante a little bit. Let’s face it. There’s only one way to do that.

Here’s what we have in mind.

If we reach $50,000
The Fictory will develop a Dr Dinosaur pinball app for the computer, iphone, and ipad.

In addition to animation The Fictory also develops gaming apps like the Stabb Gunner: Pinball Series (Pinball Massacre & Pinball Shuffle) We’d love to wrangle up our favorite Atomic Robo characters and get them mixed up in some pinball action.

Here’s the big one!

If we reach $100,000
We do an animated Dr. Dinosaur short!
THE REVENGE OF DR. DINOSAUR!
Atomic Robo Creators Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener will be heavily involved in this short. Brian will be writing the script, while Scott will be providing storyboards for this short!

And finally, depending on your Atomic Robo animation appetites:

If we reach $250,000
We’ll do a 3 part Atomic Robo animated Mini Series. A story spanning history and the globe written by series creator Brian Clevinger himself. More on this later.

Next up are the rewards, but it’s important to thank you once again for your support. We’re blown away by the turn out and have been working very closely with Brian and Scott to offer some great options moving forward. Any funds over our goal will serve to insure more quality Atomic Robo and Fictory entertainment. For YOU!

To get there we have some brand new awesome rewards!

1.  SCOTT WEGENER SKETCH REWARD!!

Series artist, Scott Wegener has agreed to lend a hand (the right one) to the cause!

2. ATOMIC ROBO VOLUME 8 CAMEO.(male) (1 of 2)
For this reward YOU will appear in volume 8 of ATOMIC ROBO.

you’ll also recieve all 6 volumes of Robo signed by Scott and Brian as well as the artbook, the dvd, The t-shirt and Robo print!

3. ATOMIC ROBO VOLUME 8 CAMEO.(female) (1 of 2)
For this reward YOU will appear in volume 8 of ATOMIC ROBO.

By the way, the package I chose didn't include the t-shirt, so thanks for the 'à la carte' option!

There may indeed be more Android users, but most studies of such matters that I have seen show that iOS users are more willing to part with some of their hard-earned cash to purchase an app, which is an important motivator for developers.

I also own an iPad 2 and an iPad Touch, so bring the app!

      +1 for the Android version.

I have both an Android phone and a tablet. Depending on how you look at it android devices currently outsell Apple's 'Magical' Devices in most countries.

*seriously hoping for Dr Dino short and animated series*

    5. Creator Justin Harford on March 5, 2012

I would prefer an Android version seeing that I only have a 7 year old ipod... maybe later on I can get something... But isn't that always the way, cool stuff is announced for mac products... Android users must wait...

    6. Creator Nathan on March 5, 2012

I too would like an android or PC version, but its not like there is a lack of awesome reasons to back this project. You got my $$. Good Luck.

    7. Creator David LaRoss on March 5, 2012

As long as there's a PC version! I'd like to have one that can run on my phone, but being able to run it at all is good enough. Especially since the pinball game is but a stopover before HOLY CRAP A DR. DINOSAUR MOVIE.

    8. Creator Joseph Krzemienski on March 5, 2012

We love all of the phones. Currently we only develop for Mac and iOs. We can only promise rewards we know we can deliver. However, developing for other platforms is something we're very interested in exploring.

      No love for Phone 7...

      bwahahahah AWESOME

    12. Creator Johan Ho on March 5, 2012

No love for Android? I do have an iPad too, so an iOS app would still be cool in any case. :D
