Happy Holidays! Planetary Annihilation Available As Part Of The Steam Holiday Sale!

When we think about the holidays, we think about snow. And candy. And John McClane.

Also, we think about sweet, sweet celestial obliteration because, really, nothing spreads the kind of joy that we commonly associate with the season like the blasting planets to smithereens.

Put Planetary Annihilation’s intense, next-generation RTS action on your list, too! Starting now, Planetary Annihilation is being featured as part of the Steam Holiday Sale. It’s available at $44.99 instead of its usual $59.99. That’s a slick deal — and we’re happy to be a part of this event.

We’re making this deal even better, by the way: everyone who purchases Planetary Annihilation during the Holiday Sale will receive a special Commander in the future. You guys will also get him, since you’ve supported us from the ground up. We’ll have a lot more details on this guy down the road, so stay tuned.

One last thing: Have you seen the latest build of Planetary Annihilation? We’ve tightened up and polished the overall experience and added two brand new game changing features: area commands and notifications. Now, you can build multiple buildings with an intuitive drag and click. And when your Commander gets attacked on a moon far, far away, you’re notified with a clickable alert that’ll whisk you to him. If it’s been a bit, you should definitely boot up Planetary Annihilation again and check out all the new stuff.

So, what’s next? We’ve got a ton of ideas and mechanics we want to implement, including the Unit Cannon, portals, new units, and we’re thinking about re-working orbital. We’ve got a lot of stuff on deck, in other words, so we should, uh, probably get back to work.

We’ll see you in the Lobby, Commanders.

Say, has the game come out yet..? Non-alpha/beta/whatever tier-supporter here.

So is there going to be any discount to buy additional keys when the game is released? Both my boys are huge SC fans and love the idea of PA. Just wondering if kickstarter supporters get a deal for new keys? Also when the game is released, we get a steam key correct?

      Game looks great BTW. Thanks!

Hello, I'm an early backer and would really like to know how I can possibly get my copy of the game.....I've been waiting quite some time, but I don't think I received an email yet with the proper instructions on how to obtain it. Please assist!

@Uber, I have emailed using the address you provided below, on 27 Nov. I will send you a PM.

I must have missed the email too! When did we get our instructions to download the game if we were an early backer? There were so many updates, it was hard to sift through them. Could you please send me the information I need to get my copy? I've been looking forward to it all year and now I'm finding out I could have been playing for a while now!

Dear Uber, one Year ago i pledged 250$ for the very promising Planetary Annihilation.
The only thing i can say, after having played the very last build is that you're definitly the best existing Game Design/Dev Team. PA is just a skyrocket :)

Sorry. You had my intention until you said "John McClane" and then I started thinking about New York cop, John McClane.

      Man. He doesn't like California!

Stephen - where have you been emailing? We've been responding, usually same day, often same hour, to any questions as they come in. Well, except when we're sleeping.

I have been to the fulfilment site multiple times and keep getting "WE'RE FULFILLING REWARDS!
We've been hard at work since the Kickstarter project completed. Early backing has concluded and now we are ready to begin the reward fulfillment process phase!"

I have emailed, and received no response.

As a backer, I am a little disappointed.

@Bryan We did! Contact support[at]uberent dot com if you're having troubles getting your copy.

    14. SVR The Boy on December 19, 2013

@Bryan We all got access to the beta. It was in an earlier update.

    15. Bryan Mckinney on December 19, 2013

So people can buy it now and start playing it but those of us who help support this from the beginning but didn't get the beta or alpha release still have to wait..or did i miss an update for those of us that backed so we could download the game? Just curious.

Thanks for not rushing this out the door and polishing the heck out of it. :D
