You spoke, we listened; Linux support is confirmed. This is not a stretch goal. We are supporting it right out of the gate.
Thanks so much, I backed this because of the Linux support! Awesome!
You need Linux supporters? What do you expect from a Linux Supporter? I can help you with Bug Reports and doing tests on Debian Squeeze 64 Bit with an ATI Radeon HD 6850 running the newest Catalyst Driver including finally working 32 Bit driver Support for older Applications/Games. So let me know if I can help you somehow.
Linux support? Well why not then.
awesome I was not going to back this project but LINUX IS AWESOME and these game is too
Was interested in this game but wasn't planning on backing it. Until you guys announced Linux support :-)
Also backed for Linux support!
I just tripled my pledge after reading this :)
Thank you for supporting linux!
Backed because of the linux support!
Will the alpha and beta versions of the game also be available for people using Linux?
Linux support for me, another $40 for you :D
Thanks for the Linux support! Backed and shared!
Hay! $1050k mark is passed and no updated poster :D

That was enough to double my pledge! I look forward to a boxed edition filled with miniatures!
I backed before I learned about Linux support. That is just gravy on top!
I agree with tnxgalaxy
As a Linux user I am looking forward to this.
But for me, real LAN support would be great.
I found out about this from phoronix, but had to haggle with myself for a few days about how much to spend. I'm so excited to see such a large scale RTS come to Linux, thanks so much!
Thanks for Linux support!
my wishes ?
1) a real LAN support :)
2) make sure I'll be able to play the game in 10 years, as I did with Total Annihilation (and probably SupCom :)) if it has to have DRMs which I understand, please release a patch that unlocks that in a few years
3) when the game doesn't make money anymore, that would be awesome if it could be opensources (source code + artwork), with similar plans as Minecraft
Thanks for reading :)
Thnx for Linux support.
Thanks for the linux support you got my money. :)
It's exciting to see this coming out for linux. I know it's unlikely, but I would love to see this open sourced. I'm sure you could get a lot of die-hard linux backers to kick in a lot more that way. Since it's being supported by the community it would be great if it was entirely open.
Amazing looking game, but Linux was the reason pushing me over the edge to help kick this project. I can't wait! :D
if we all just give $7 more we would be over
Yes, Linux please.
If linux is here, so am I :)
New baken onboard :)
Great job guys. I supported it early on simply because I am a sucker for this kind of RTS, I am even more excited to get my hands on it now !
P.S. I Have supported at the level to get access to the alpha, and linux is the only OS I have so if you need linux testers look me up.
SteamForLinux.com is a Backer now!
This just makes things all the more worth while, kudos, sirs (and penguin)!
Linux support ... thank you, just thank you !
I love the concept and the info video. Linux support out of the gate, you got my pledge. Thank you.
Excellent, have some money.
We Linux gamers WANT to throw money at good games and the ipublishers keep saying we are no market. You got my money !
Linux Support, there goes my pledge!
Linux support, and suddenly my money appears.
marvin: plug your 60in screen into your computer, the ouya isnt powerful enough to do a game like this, especially not on a 60in screen. Thats just a -sad- fact.
Great news!... It would be great to play game without a need to reboot to another system
Are you thinking of OUYA support? It would be great to smash planets a 60in screen!!!
Just wanted to chime in and say that Linux support got me to chip in too. Looking forward to the finished product!
Pledged fot linux support. Looking forward to this game, and the many many more you make after it.
First I was 'OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!1!11 this game looks awesome!', then I saw linux support, then I clicked pledge.
Nice one guys can't wait!
Pledged for linux support.
Mmm. Totally should include a tux commander for Linux users?
Hell yeah! Space Penguins geared up for launch...
Pledged away thanks to Linux support. About time developers started to support it!
