      @Michele, AJ - Fair points!

      My main issue with this is the fact that despite the bugs, the lack of a save feature, the lack of offline play and a generally broken game they still decided to release the game from Early Access. That is my issue.

      I think that most people still react that way because Uber totally missed the point. People don't get upset only for missing features, but for the way the communication was/is handled. They made those well timed updates only because community critiques forced them to do that and they still need its trust for their new campaing. The reason behind it doesn't seem honorable. They didn't address the fact the they lied, hid information or postponed key features. They simply go forward without taking responsability or admitting they did something wrong. At this point people have all the reasonably right to doubt Uber commitment and honesty, because until now they never gave them a reason to do otherwise.
      Uber could release all the missing promised feature tomorrow and still being at fault for they way they treat the community.

      Supreme Commander: FA ey? You know what I would REALLY pay a lot of kickstarter money for? New single player missions for Supreme Commander: FA :D
      I don't know how many times I've played SupCom: FA and SupCom singleplayer. I know each mission like the back of my hand, and some new ones would really be nice.

      I wanted something like Forged Alliance but with a better engine and better AI. I only play skirmish and want to pause and slow down the gamespeed. Those are the features I have been waiting for because until then I can't get enjoyment from this frantic RTS. In its current state I wouldn't buy PA because it is 100% focused towards competitive gaming.
      I still have hope that someday somebody will make it a fun game for me but to this day I still play Forged Alliance every week.

      @Christopher - so we've got offline play coming in a couple of days - what is is fuelling the hate at this point? Once the single-player save is in and presuming they stick with it long enough to polish away the bugginess, will you be happy with PA, or is it more the overall direction of the thing, or they way they managed the release that's pissing you off?

      (Not trying to start a rhetorical argument, genuinely interested).

      Also, although if you're old enough for a certain era of the Simpsons you probably get it a lot... "No, my son is also called Bort." :)

      Another ruse to get people to fund your hopefully failed new kickstarter. I hope more people report it to Kickstarter so it stops. Don't fund their new game. Seriously.

      OMG, Jeremy Ables the fastest speaking developer at GPG at the time! That is amazing news! Uber you keep surprising me in a nice way, over and over again!
      Mr. Jables, weren't you in Germany for quite some time? Welcome back!!! :)
