You wanted to hear more about how Human Resources plays, yeah? Today, we're busting out a kickass "Design Commentary" video that walks you through how The Ancient Ones and Machines fight, harvest, and build.

Check it out here:

There's a lot more to share, and we're going to keep sharing based on what you want to see. We're looking forward to hearing about what you want in the comments! Let us know.

I can assure you guys we're doing our best to get the word out. Expect more this week!

Seeing this video helped to explain how the game work and i am exited. This reminds me of red alert 2 gaming style. I love producing armies, building, harvesting resources. I am a fan of Uber Entertainment indeed. Keep up the great work.

So essentially we have small units/medium units+harvester units/large units+command units and massive units?

@Creator I am really looking forward to this game, but sadly I feel its not going to hit its funding goal in the required time, you need to inject more effort in to the PR of this game. Us backers can only do so much!

Also, the pledge levels are not really that exciting, if there were exclusive units for Kickstarter backers, I would be much more inclined to increase my pledge level.

That was a great video, and explained a lot of things about the game that I hadn't realized, and perhaps more importantly, helps to explain what makes this game different than the previous ones and what a good chunk of that funding is going towards.

      Thanks!

      @Otoshi
I'm pretty sure the Harbinger is more a reference to what the word "Harbinger" actually means (a person or thing that announces or signals the approach of another) and that ME2 made the same reference, rather than HR making a ME2 reference.

Also you guys should totally bang out some high res concept art / render wallpapers and post on places like the imaginarymonsters / imaginarytechnology subreddits. You've got sons really awesome art in this game and I think some of those guys would go nuts over this.

so it's like a light story with funny humor in it. hope there's more funny dialogue without being more seriousness in the story. nice reference for Harbinger from Mass effect 2 by the way. :)

Good chat! Have you guys thought about variance of maps or special buildings / items in the maps? Obviously Red Alert 2 was quite big on this with being about to capture Hospitals and Oil Refineries. In fact... Surely a kindergarten would be harvesting overload for the Ancients?!

Also, what purpose does the shard slicer provide, other than the obvious. Will there be ways to reattach the shards? Will there be shard jumpers?

      Looks awesome!

I hope though that there is an option for no wonders though, as I have always had more fun completely smacking down the other side, not trying to race for wonders to win.

Awesome stuff. I really liked the idea of involving a traffic helicopter as the announcer. Perhaps we could also get news and radio chatter when large events are happening rather than just the helicopter - I like the idea of maintaining the visibility of the humans in this disaster so the city isn't a sterile playground.

I also think the level of asymmetry, down to resource collection is great.

      Looking forward to future updates!

Thanks for posting this! I was eagerly awaiting some details on the game mechanics. Sounds great so far! Just hope to see the game get backed.
