What is Perf+?
Perf+ is a revolutionary electronic prototyping board designed for electronic hobbyists, engineering students and people getting into electronics, which is easy to use and versatile. It is faster to prototype on and easier to keep track of your connections than any competing product.
Perf+ allows any two pads in the grid to be connected together via a two dimensional framework of copper. Allow this board to be a blank canvas of your imagination, there is nothing you cannot build with it!

Advantages over traditional prototyping boards
- No wires required
- Less solder required (see below)
- Easier to trace and follow connections
- Easy to implement breadboard design
How does it work?
Perf+ uses a unique pad shape, plated through holes and copper traces to allow any two pads to be connected together with a small dab of solder. The top and bottom of the pads are connected via the plated through hole with a small gap between the trace and the pad. Traces can be cut to desired length using included razor blade.
Here is an example of connecting two points together:
- 36 × 24 pads/holes
- Labeled pads/holes
- Electroless nickel immersion gold plating (not present on prototypes)
- 1.2mm thick
- Standard 0.1 inch or 2.54 mm pitch
- 4 × 3mm mounting holes
- Every reward includes a complimentary razor blade to cut traces
Bonus blinker circuit
The LED blinker circuit is included for you to easily try out and experiment with laying out and making circuits with Perf+. It consists of a 555 timer chip and all the passive components you need to complete it. A soldering iron, solder, solder braid/sucker and approximately 30 minutes is required to complete the kit. A 3-5v power source is required (2 AA or AAA batteries in series or a USB charger)

Risks and challenges
As the second prototype is identical to the ones to be produced, the risk of a failed production run is minimal. If an error occurs after or during manufacturing, I will negotiate with the board house and try to correct the error.
The boards will be sent in padded envelopes via China Post small packet. This is the most cost efficient way of distributing them. However, it is possible for some packets to not arrive to its destination. If there is a lost or damaged packet, I will be happy to resend them.
