      Hi Dale, the only sauce we have that is not vegetarian is our Sambal Oelek. It contains fish sauce.

      I just used my Sambal Oelek up this week, it was so delicious. It is easily the best I have had!

      So far I really like all the products however the Sambal Oelek is unbelievable!! I've added it to a teriyaki steak stirfry and a left over chicken stir fry that I put back in the wok with the Oelek, it was amazing!!! But I went on your link and can not find more? Is/will it available?

      This is some fantastic stuff. I haven't used it much yet, but it's been great for kicking sandwiches up a notch. Tonight, it was my taco sauce... turned a rather ordinary taco kit into some of the best I've ever had. I'm gonna be sad when it's gone!

      Great sauces all around I just wish they were easier to get out of the containers. The sriracha is very viscous and in a jar (???), the hot sauce is a mess every time in the original bottle. Maybe some hot sauce bottles with stoppers, that's what I ended up doing. Great job on the sauces!

      omg this is so good! the barrel aged really has a new layer of flavor. Ate it alone, as part of an aioli, and the dry rub. it also has more heat than regular sriracha! Keep up the good work!!

      I received my package today, while the outside of the box showed signs that the fragile labels all over it were taken as a challenge instead of a warning, the contents arrived intact. I've had a chance to sample everything and am wanting more of the 3mo already.

      Thanks for your comment. Because we make our sauces without any additives like thickeners or preservatives, the consistency is a little thinner than what you may be used to with Huy Fong's Sriracha sauce. Feel free to email me at lisa(at)sosusauces.com with a picture of your sauce and we can see if it's normal or you got one that was not the right consistency.

      Hello,

      I finally received my shipment of the sriracha, rub, and the sambal. While the last two items are great, I had a question about the sriracha: is it supposed to be very watery? I was expecting the consistency to be more like that of regular sriracha (i.e. thick and saucy). Instead, it's more like soup. I can still taste the barrel-aged goodness, but if this is not the way it's supposed to be enjoyed, I'd sure like to know!

      Hi! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! my Sosu! OMG! Just AWESOME! The Ketchup I got before was ... not real ketchupy. Very runny. But this batch of goodies is OUTRAGEOUSLY COOL!

      One minor problem that's not your fault. Though packed well with obvious great care, the post office decided to handle my package like a soccer ball. One of the jars of Sriracha was a fatality, the lid came off. Again as a testament to the GREAT packaging, the bubble wrap and tape kept the lid in place, though loose and only a small portion of the contents leaked through the box. It was a pretty easy clean up but the open jar went in the trash. "Refrigerate after opening" right?

      Would y'all be so kind to send me out another jar? I had intended to gift one to a friend who is a BIG Sriracha fan.

      Just want to say thank you so much for the delicious products! My husband and I picked up ours in SF this weekend. It was great to meet you, and we love it all. Used the sriracha in some sriracha pulled pork that I made earlier, and next time I'll make it exclusively with Sosu. Also, will you ever have the hot sauce in your store? My husband would put it on everything if we didn't have a limited amount.

      Hi Everyone,

      I am very happy to see everyone is enjoying their saucy packages and already been using Sosu in your cooking and meals. Keep it coming! I love to see all your creative ideas!

      Regarding the sambal oelek, some people have gotten a few packages that have been bubbling over, fizzing. No need to be alarmed. Our sambal is fermented, so with the amount of travel these packages go through, it most likely over fermented and created the pressure so that it leaked. I would advise as soon as you get it, put it in the refrigerator and release the air by opening the lid. It will help. It is still edible, but what you decide to do with it is up to you and your judgement call.

      If you are one of those who got one of the more "bubbly" sambal, please send us an email (info@sosusauces.com) with a picture of your sambal and we will remedy it.

      Also, the Barrel-Aged Sriracha is now available on our online shop at www.sosusauces.com if you want to order more or have friends who wants it too.

      Received my is shipment everything was in order however upon opening the Sirracha, the seal was popped and there was a leak inside the bubble wrap. Please advise as to next steps. Thanks!

      Just received my package yesterday. We had the sriracha on chicken quesadillas for dinner. It was absolutely amazing, great job well worth the wait. I'm sure when these jars are gone I will be looking for more. thank you and GOOD LUCK!!!

      Got mine today! Trying the barrel aged sriracha now with dinner and it's delicious. Terrific sweet flavor with a good amount of heat that doesn't overpower the flavor but enough that it still lets you know it's there. Can't wait to try the other stuff that came in the package.

      Nate - The last update clearly states they are looking at a late November/early December delivery date. Also, it's the sriracha ketchup that is being delivered to stores, which is not barrel aged.

      Lisa - does that mean once the new batch is ready there will be more salt or rub for sale via the website?

      That's really the kind of information you need to be clearly publishing - we shouldn't have to come ask for it. Not cool, Lisa.

      Why are products being shipped to stores (per your latest update) instead of to backers? (Especially since it seems to be side-project products, rather than the one you pledged to make via your kickstarter campaign.)

      Hi Michael, Peter, and Diana, thanks for your patience as we make more sriracha from this season's harvest. We had a late start to our pepper growing season this year and it has taken some time for us to load up our first barrels. Because each barrel requires 1 month aging (some 3 months), we are estimating November/early December for our first deliveries. Thanks for your patience. We promise it's worth the wait. Thanks, Lisa

      Just wanted to say that my boyfriend loves the rub that you threw in with the order. It was by far his favorite and we were looking on your website and it doesn't seem like there is a place to order more.       Got my rewards in this past weekend. Already started trying them (Sorry the spam of tweets and pics). So far the 1 month aged was great on a burger, and the Spice rub was fantastic on chicken! Can't wait to keep trying new things with everything. Best Kickstarter I've backed to date!
