When old Harlan finds an intruder on his property... Well, they're intrudin' on his property. He exercises his right to defend his family and farm, and sets off a chain of events that the local community wouldn't ever dream of. Mostly because they're a bit stupid.
Written by Lizzie Boyle and drawn & lettered by Conor Boyle, Sentient Zombie Space Pigs will emerge as a cautionary tale about being nice to strangers and watching what you eat. It's also a tongue-in-cheek salute to some projects that perhaps look to make a profit before making something worthwhile. Other than that, it does what it says on the tin.
If we do raise the required money to fund the project, once we've finished heaping praise on all the lovely people concerned, we'll be looking to launch Issue 1 at Melksham Comic Convention, in August of this year.
Sentient Zombie Space Pigs will be a Black & White comic with a colour cover.
Risks and challenges
This project faces significant risks from a shortfall of biscuits. Without biscuits, the writer tends to get antsy and the artist gets the shakes. Steps will be taken to ensure that enough biscuits are available throughout the lifetime of the project, and that said biscuits fulfil the specific needs of the project team (chocolatey).Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
