Hello Ryan (and cohorts): I've just received my copy of the book this morning and I'm quite delighted by it. You've really captured the beauty and the isolation of the big land, and a few interesting 'finds' along with it. Several of the photographs are knock-outs; my favourite at the moment is page 55 -- would look smashing at 20x24. Congratulations on a successful project and a great trip wonderfully documented in this lovely book.

Hi Richard (and all of our project backers)! The book is making huge progress and I am incredibly pleased with the direction of the edit and layout/design work. I took a pause on posting to the blog as there wasn't as much to report as I've been working in the studio. I will resume posting soon as I am preparing to send out postcard announcements of the book's release and share a small edit of prints that will be offered as rewards. Thank you again to everyone who has backed this project, offered their love and support. I can't thank you all enough and I can't wait to share the results of my hard work. More to come shortly! Ryan

Congratulations Ryan! Can you pass this on to your mom? Dear Heidi, There should be a meet-up group for moms of Kickstarter adventurers! My son, Andrew is headed across the country this summer and will be sending postcards to his Kickstarter supporters too. It is very inspiring to have kids who can make a dream into a reality. Also a little nerve wracking! ---Sue

Hi Paul! Thank you so much for your generous pledge. It's really exciting to have support from a North West River native. I spent 10 days making photographs there last year which was the inspiration for this trip and photo project. We will be leaving in early July so unfortunately we won't cross paths this summer. Thanks again and many more updates to come.

      Hi Ryan,
I grew up in North West River and have known this story since I was a child.
I have since moved away, but my parents are still there. Labrador is a beautiful place and
I wish you all the best. I look forward to getting updates.

PS - When will you be there? I am visiting there for the secend half of July.
