About this project
Is Your New Year's Resolution Working Out For You?
If it is, great! But if it isn't...You're not alone!
Studies show that only 8% of us will actually achieve our goals each year. That means that 92% of people fall short. But why?
Failing to hit your goals ISN'T due to a lack of ability...it's due to a lack of the right SYSTEM!
The good news it that you don't have to wait until next January 1st if you want to start over. With the right system - like a day planner perhaps ;) - you can accomplish all of your goals and make 2016 the best year of your life!
Do you Want To:
- Get Organized?
- Enjoy Life to the Fullest?
- Be Happier?
- Hit Your Goals?
- Stay Fit & Healthy?
- Lose Weight?
- Overcome Challenges and Get Your Life Back on Track?
Panda Planner can help get you there Fast!
The Panda Planner is an undated daily planner that is specifically designed to increase productivity, time management and happiness.
Your Panda is Split into Three Sections: Daily, Weekly & Monthly
This unique system is designed to build positive habits of productivity and gratitude automatically, over time.
- I'm Grateful For:
Begin each day by focusing on three things in your life that you appreciate! This cultivates a habit of optimism and trains your brain to be effortlessly positive!
- Today Will Be Great Because:
You will develop a mindset of excitement and passion when you start each morning by looking forward to what the day has to offer!
Instill positive traits in yourself by committing to empowering statements such as "I am confident" or "I am compassionate".
Identify what your focus for the day will be; this could be something like "gratitude", "patience" or even "avoid social media".
Doctors and researchers have said that if you could put the benefits of exercise into a pill, it would be considered a miracle drug. Find time for exercise everyday, even if it's just five minutes!
Choose your top 3-5 tasks that you absolutely have to complete today. These are non-negotiable, and must be completed before the end of your work day. Ideally, each block should also be completed in a 30-50 minute "sprint", followed by a short break.
Your daily schedule, broken down into half hour blocks. The schedule runs from 6am to 9:30pm each day.
Check boxes to keep track of small tasks, errands and/or follow up items to be completed during the day. I like to complete all of my tasks in one scheduled multi-tasking sprint.
Blank space for creativity, ideas, insights, reminders or just about anything you want!
- Today's Wins:
Your End of Day Review is a great place to lock in all the magic that happened today. Write down three of the great things that happened today to further develop your attitude of appreciation!
- How I'll Improve:
I was very careful with the wording of this growth-mindset question so it forces you to think about ways you can make things better, instead of dwelling on what went wrong. Within every challenge or mistake is an opportunity to get BETTER! :)
The Weekly Review can be done one day per week to review the previous seven days and plan your upcoming week.
- Big Wins:
Take note of the best experiences and biggest accomplishments from the past week. Use this opportunity to be grateful for them and appreciate all the positive things in your life!
- How I'll Improve:
Reflect on how you can make your upcoming week even better than the previous week. Even small improvements, done consistently, add up to HUGE gains over time!
- Things I Will Do To Make This Week Great:
What are some specific steps you can take to actively make this week great? Don't wait for good things to come to you, make them happen instead!
- I'm Looking Forward To:
List the events & things that you're excited about doing this week. Over time, you might even find that you are looking forward to things that you previously disliked (like work even?! gasp!).
- Habits I'm Focusing On Developing:
The key to a successful life is in the development of positive habits. Decide each week what 1-3 habits you're working on and make them a priority. Start small at first and build them up over time.
- Education / Mastery:
Learning and education are vial to brain health, especially as we age! Learn something new each week and stay young ;)
- Passion Project:
Work is great, but we need projects for fun as well! Make sure to schedule some time each week to work on projects that you're passionate about and make you feel good!
This is where you list your top four projects that you're working on. Under each project title, list all of the action steps that you can think of that need to be done for that project. When filling out your "Priorities" in your Daily Planner, those items should come from the tasks listed here in your Projects section.
- Top Goals This Week:
If you could only get five things done this week and still call it a success, those five things go here! By focusing on your goals every day, every week and every month, you'll watch your productivity explode!
The Monthly Review is the final building block needed to build positive habits of productivity and happiness; with those in place, accomplishing your goals is almost automatic!
- Month Overview:
Classic Calendar view so you can keep track of the big events in your life and never miss another appointment.
Develop the best version of yourself by deciding on and keeping a Monthly Focus. Some ideas could be: Laugh More, Compliment Others Daily, Spread Excitement, Passion, or Resilience.
- Daily Habit:
Decide what habit you want to work on everyday (Meditation? Morning Ritual?), then check of the "H" box on each day that you do it. Try and keep the streak going!
Each week has a notes section to use however you please. I like to write down the main goals or themes of each week at the start of the month.
- This Month's Goals:
Identify the top three goals that you want to accomplish by the end of this month.
- Success Measured By:
To avoid having vague results, get specific about how you're going to accomplish your goals. At the end of the month, it should be very clear when you hit your goals!
- Distractions To Avoid:
An often overlooked, and key part of productivity, is eliminating distractions! This can be just as important as other productivity habits, so spend some time each month to identify potential pitfalls.
- This Month's Wins:
Keep track of the best events, experiences and memories from your month! Look back fondly at everything you've accomplished.
- Insights Gained:
Use this section to cement the important lessons you've learned this month. Learning is a lifelong pursuit, so build a habit of monthly reflection.
- How I'll Improve:
Decide on the specific actions you will take to make next month even better than this one!
The Secret is that the Panda Planner's Design is Based on Scientific Studies and Principles of Positive Psychology That Have Been Proven to Increase Happiness & Productivity!

A full year planner would feel BIGGER than a phone book (remember those?!); six months is a great balance of size and functionality.
Why I Created Panda Planner
For the past few years, I've been hampered by both Lyme Disease and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Each of these on their own was enough to knock me on my back and render me mostly useless, but the combination resulted in a perfect storm of depression, anxiety and inability to think clearly. Naturally this was something of a bummer!
Finally fed up with my condition, and determined to get back on track, I started looking for a system that could help address the mental ailments I was dealing with (depression/anxiety), as well as the day to day needs I had as a self-employed entrepreneur (productivity).
After reading countless books & scientific/scholarly articles, I created the first version of what is now the Panda Planner. I refined it after months of trial and error, and finally came up with a system that works.
I used the system for a few months with amazing results when, as if to test the salt of the system, I was bitten by another tick and infected with Lyme Disease for a second time. After a relatively short period of time, I was back on track and launching a new business (Panda Planner!) to help other people who want to overcome challenges, or just be happier and more productive!
My hope with Panda Planner is that it will give people the motivation, the inspiration, the system...or whatever it is that they need, to put their challenges behind them and start living the fulfilling life they deserve! (Yeah, I totally understand how trite and "infomercial-y" that sounds, but I'm telling you...for anyone who has spent a few years in the darkness and then come back to the light, they want nothing else but to help others do the same!)

Risks and challenges
Of course there are always risks and challenges that come with any new product launch. However, we already have an established relationship with our printer and have produced thousands of Panda Planners already (the smaller size version). The biggest risk at this point is timing; we will do everything we can to get these planners delivered as quickly as possible, but there are always events outside of our control (i.e. inclement weather) that could delay shipping.
Our printer knows that we are submitting an order of these planners and they are ready to go as soon as we give them the green light. We will do everything we can to ensure we have a quality product that is delivered to our backers as early as possible. Thanks for your support!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
