We all share that experience in any given year when we have to purchase a gift for a family member, friend or work colleague. Hours spent searching online or trapsing around the many stores, feeling like you are going to faint. Being driven into a madness that wouldn't be out of place in a Lovecraft tale. Well I may have something that can help. If you're interested then please dear reader, continue.
Having been inspired by the stories and characters of H.P Lovecraft I have created a small but perfectly formed selection of wrapping papers that are perfect for the Lovecraft fanatic or horror lover in you life. How does this help you, you may say? Well once you have used this gift wrap, the actual present that is housed inside becomes secondary, They will probably toss the gift aside and get back to lovingly and possibly scarily staring at the paper for many hours afterwards. Do not be surprised if you are castigated by your gift receiver for daring to fold and cover their newly owned prescious sheet of paper with sticky tape. Maybe you should have just gave them the wrapping paper on its own? Well at least you know for next time.
The Wrapping Paper

The Gift Tags

Details
Each sheet of wrapping paper is 90gsm thick and 580mm x 830mm in size.
The gift tags are sized 70x48mm and are a 350gsm card.
The rewards will be sent to their recipients in sturdy postal tubes.
Artwork has been created by the amazing illustrator Paul Loudon. I emplore you to head over to paulloudon.com and check out his work, he really is very good.
The Lovecraft logo was created by the Liverpool-based illustrator Scott Duffey and you can see more at scottduffey.com

Where will my money go?
Good question! Your hard earned cash will go towards the following:
- Printing of the sheets of wrapping paper
- Printing of the Gift tags
- Gift tag twine
- Postal tubes
- Delivery
- Kickstarter fees
If this is very successful then I would hope to use any left over money to create brand new wrapping paper, greeting cards etc which I am very keen to do.
Finally
Thank you for taking an interest in this project, it means a lot that there are people out there that are willing to support it. I hope that this is just the beginning and if this project is successful, I would want to create similar items but you will have to wait to find out what those are.
Any feedback and ideas you would like to give is more than welcome.
Risks and challenges
As the artwork is complete and a printing company already sourced to create the wrapping paper and gift tags, the risks are minimal.
The biggest challenge(I hope)will be sending out all the lovely Lovecraftian rewards to my even more lovely backers.
