LIME is a graduate thesis short that is currently in production at the Savannah College of Art and Design since September 2012 and is scheduled to be completed at the end of May 2013. Upon completion, the film will be presented with SCAD's RealD projector.
Currently there are over 70 crew members working tirelessly every day and night to get closer to our goal.
The film focuses on Burt and Willie, two sailors adrift out at sea. They are out of food, water, and options until a lime is discovered on board the ship. Burt's greed gets the best of him and betrays Willie by trying to take the lime for himself. The two struggle and each one’s selfishness increases until they end up destroying what’s left of their livelihood…their ship.
In order to complete this film we need to send our files off site to a third party render farm. Doing this can be costly and take time, which is why we are asking for your help. If we are unable to achieve our fund raising goal of $2,500 then we will not be able to finish the film. With your donation you will receive one of the rewards listed based on how much you donate. Any extra money that is raised will be used in submitting the film to film festivals and supporting our fantastic crew.
Risks and challenges
We feel well prepared to finish our project once the funding has been fulfilled being that we faced challenges early in the project which have been resolved. The project is in the home stretch of being completed, the rendering is going to be the only hurdle we will have left in completing the film,Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
