About this project
"Oh, it's so cute you boys are making a movie." -Ben's Mom
Because you are now reading, we assume you have already watched the video. Thank you for your interest!
Here's what we intend to do with the money:
- BOOM: Film the first 8 minutes of our feature-length movie (which we will, of course, make available for you to view).
- BAM: Use this opening as a "proof of concept" to acquire additional funding.
- POW: Take that funding, and complete the remainder of our film.
- WOW: Release one of the greatest martial arts film of all time, Maximum Coppage!
Now, we are actually shooting the opening for more than $3,000, but we believe so strongly in our awesome product, that we are willing to front the rest from our own cobwebbed wallets. Any additional funding would significantly alleviate the hit we take on our own starving artists' salary.

- Robert Nyerges - Producer
The four of us met nearly five years ago in Ohio University's Video Production Program, and sparks flew. Since then, we've worked on many projects together (short films, music videos, spec commercials, etc.), and have developed such a powerful synergy, rivaled only by the bond shared between identical twins.
For the past two years, we've been fortunate enough to make a living in Hollywood through TV and film. Although proud of this accomplishment, it's not as satisfying as creating something ourselves. We are confident that we are at a point in our lives where we have acquired the skill-set, and experience to make this movie as awesome, and enjoyable as possible.

Risks and challenges
Our initial plan was to make this film with little to no money, but our friends thought the script was so good, they convinced us to seek more funding.
We listened, because the amount of financing is directly related to the quality of production. In other words, with a larger budget, we can rent better equipment, hire more professionals, and actually afford to feed our cast and crew while on set (people get cranky when they don't eat). Therefore, every extra dollar can only make Maximum Coppage a more enjoyable viewing experience for you!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
