Personalized frames reward

Posted by Colorspace Studio (Creator)

I received questions about the personalized frame reward and wanted to give more information on this. I want people to know what to expect.

Personalized frames

The personalized frame will be my pixelated interpretation by me of a picture, reference or suggestion from you. Pixel art has limited resolution, here is an image of two different sizes I will use for the frames.

You can expect the frames to be around those size, they might be a bit smaller or a bit bigger, to make some variations in the level, but expect something around these size. You can get an idea of the resolution I can play with from the frame on the upper right and other frames you can see in the trailer. The resolution on the frames are the actual pixel resolution, but in-game everything is scaled up.

Keep in mind that if it is very complex I might struggle to get it the way you expect it, but I will work with each one of you who get this reward to make sure you are satisfied with what I will draw for you. The idea for his reward is for you to find your personalized frame, and be part of the game. It is my way of thanking you to make it possible and I want you to be happy with the result.

The original idea for the frames was to put them all in one hidden room. I might split them in 2 or 3 rooms to make more things to discover, with achievements to unlock.

Two important rules to remember:

  • The frame must be in good taste, I can't draw something that might raise the rating of the game. It must follow the rules on the different platforms I will publish the title on. Keep in mind that the game is meant for a general audience.
  • It can't be copyrighted work. You need to own the rights to whatever I will draw and give me the right to use it in the game. I can't draw something that I can get sued for later, otherwise it will be removed from the game.
