About

I am a 100 percent disabled veteran of the Iraq war. Retired at the rank of SSG (Staff Seargent). I Created/designed BARIV5, After retirement I set around looking for something to pour myself into like so many veterans who lose purpose. I eventually started training at the gym and after a couple of years I turned it into a passion, something to give myself purpose and direction. I wanted a way to make myself viable in this industry. So I set out and designed the logo and launched BARIV5 LLC. BARIV5 not only was a way to help myself be purposeful, but also a way to give back to my fellow veterans in a meaningful way. BARIV5 currently has a functional app launched on both the itunes and google play stores, however it needs funding for the operational features it lacks. BARIV5 also has a working instagram and facebook foothold established, we have one local distributor that has experienced meaningful success, BARIV5 needs funding for inventory backlog to make it grow in meaningful way that will help it stay relevant!

Risks and challenges

The risks associated with this project is user acceptance. This app and social site is in direct competition with some big names like Facebook. We have found a niche that appreciates the lack of advertising and our companies promise that we won't sell users data. This really is a community with a specific purpose.
