I have been developing the concepts for The Floating City for two years and will finally be sharing the full work this Fall / Winter.
This multimedia production explores the place within, a place of feeling stuck or in transition, the place between this world and the world in our heads. It is a surreal exploration of shifting environments, creating a moving landscape of time and relationships inspired by the writings of Haruki Murakami.
The Floating City is a big production with a moving set with integrating LED lights, video projections and 5 performers with live musician.
I am working with amazing new collaborators:
Performers: Diana Deaver, Kristina Isabelle, Angela Luem, Felicia McBride, and Marley Schmidt
Set Designer: Grant Sabin
Video Design: Octane Rich Media and JR Gualtieri
Music: Christopher Preissing
Costumes: Atalee Judy
Lights: Julie Ballard
Right now as we get closer to our premiere date I have found I am just short of the funds needed to push the production to its final fabulous stage of performance, which is why I am reaching out to you family, friends and dance fans.
Help me compensate all of the collaborators, rent the projectors and get our set to Columbus and Wisconsin.

Risks and challenges
Funding for this project will go towards artist fees, production fees and touring expenses. Your contribution could help pay one of the five amazing dancers, set designer, sound designer, video artists, and lighting designer. Plus assist in the development of new technology to not only light our set but to project on our set from multiple angles.
It is always a challenging to complete a creative vision but we are so close to achieving the production value that we believe in and with your help we can complete this two year journey of making The Floating City.
The performance will take place regardless if we receive full funding with our kickstarter campaign however I may not be able to compensate the artists their full rate and may have to abort certain projection plans.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
