Thanks, Jenny. I'm very excited too :) I can't wait to get the journals done, send them to you and hear about your kids' (and your!) reactions.
Very excited about this! I have four children and my older two(9 & 10 yr old girls) I know are going to love it.
(Sorry, hit "post comment" by mistake earlier)
Wow, I hadn't caught that and I so appreciate your letting me know. Thank you Stephanie!!!
I have fixed it in my version now and will run both the letter and the journal through professional editors before sending it off to the printers! :)
Hey Sumitha. :)
I was just reading through the story that comes with the journal and noticed there's a typo on page 5, instruction number two. It says "black are red" instead of "black and" or "black or". Just wanted to point it out in case you hadn't noticed it.
And congrats on fully funded!
Wow, that's such a great idea Jessica!!! I definitely want to explore it some more! I'll message you to talk more if you can spare a minute!
Hmmm, if you're going digital... how about a daily delivery of a page at a time? It could even be personalized to the children and parents if you had some fancy IT person working for you!
I hadn't thought of this, Sara!
I have added a "PRINTABLE DIGITAL + SINGLE PACK" option. Will you please take a look?
Let me know if you prefer to have the PRINTABLE DIGITAL with the 2-PACK, 3-PACK or 4-PACK instead. I can add that instead.
Thank you so much for your support!
Is there a way to get the digital version as well as one or more physical copies?
Thank you for the interest in the journal, Ryan. It is designed for elementary school-aged kids, so ideally your child should be at least 5 years old to do it. So it should be perfect for your daughter, but your son may be need to wait a little longer (You *could* do it with him, but you will be doing most of the writing and I am not sure how much he might take away from it).
And yes, the journal is designed to be unisex.
Timewise, it is very flexible... you could use it as a daily journal, or you could do it one section at a time, or you could do it whenever you have a few minutes (for example, you could do it with one child while you are waiting for the other child's swim lessons or gymnastics to be done etc.)
Please let me know if you have any other question!
What age do you suggest starting this? I have a 4 year old boy and a 5 year old girl who can both read well. My younger child isn't very capable of writing yet. Do you think this journal is unisex? Is it meant for daily use? Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words about the design, Yasmeen.
And good question about the shipping date for the digital version. I want to make sure that every one gets the exact same version - whether they back the digital or physical version. I will likely end up sending the digital versions as soon as we finalize the design with the manufacturer though. I'd rather ship early than late, and that's why the date is set to May :)
Great idea, loving the design! A question though, why should the people pledging for the digital version wait till May as well?
