About this project
SEFF Binghamton: Student Experimental Film Festival is a student run film festival located in Binghamton, NY. It focuses on experimental pieces that challenge its viewers and filmmakers to go outside their comfort zone.
We take films from students, across the United States, and organize a two-day event to showcase those films to the students and local community. We as students who are enrolled in Curating Film and Video at Binghamton University strive to create awareness of this artistic sub-culture that is becoming more prevalent in today’s society. The festival will be held on December 7th and 8th, 2012 in Downtown Binghamton at the cyber cafe, art mission theater and Binghamton University.
Your sponsorship will help us make better festival venues, posters, programs, and an all-around better festival experience. We depend on sponsorship like yours to help us achieve our goal. Thank you so much!

Risks and challenges
Making a Film festival is not the easiest of tasks. We have a lot of preparation for the event. We need to be able to create all of our festival notes as well as posters. Our team is writing out amazingly informative Curatorial programs that everyone will find enlightening! We are Mailing out and retrieving films as well as prepping our venues for film viewing. The biggest challenge is making the community aware of this subculture of art.
We know this festival will be great! With your help of fundraising, this big challenge, this festival will be the best one yet to come to binghamton!
