Risks and challenges
Dear Valued Existing and Potential Bay Area Kickstarter Backers and Kaibigans,
We have strategically planned each phase of our San Francisco Bay Area Tour. We have the primary itinerary and necessary skill sets to ensure everything will go off without a hitch.
Being in the gourmet food truck and restaurant industry for almost four years, we recognize each significant project one undertakes has inherent risk and challenges.
We do not foresee any Kickstarter tour delays because we are now making sure we possess the appropriate infrastructure to execute fully the San Francisco Bay Area Tour. We have the knowledge and experience to make sure everything has been taken care of ahead of time in terms of service locations, logistics, staffing, transportation, just to name a few items on our extensive to-do list.
With that said, we, however, are very proud of where we are with White Rabbit Truck and where it is today. To mitigate the risk of the truck mechanically making it out there, we have enlisted the help of a vehicle transport company to haul our 15,000lb truck to the Bay. We also have an onsite mechanic that will be with us in the event of an emergency.
Our invaluable team and industry alliances with such businesses and industry experts as our Co-founders, seasoned business executives, and CSUN Alum Michael Dimaguila, UCI Alum Melvin Chua, Le Cordon Blue graduate, Executive Chef and Co-founder James Du, and the entire White Rabbit staff have not only grown this company to what it is today, but served as some of the best mentors that this company could have in its corner. They are committed to providing resources for the success of this San Francisco Bay Area Tour, and will let NOTHING stand in its way.
With little to no funding, we have taken, what at first was only an idea, to the opening of the first Filipino Fusion food truck, which has gained a great deal of momentum and awareness, serving Filipino food to the masses all over Southern California, Las Vegas and very soon....San Francisco! We have gone through, and are very aware of, the gamut of risks involved with this industry and have eliminated major factors that would hinder this tour.
We are very meticulous when it comes to planning, which is why we have a multi-stage planning approach when it comes to preparing for this tour. We feel very confident that, with YOUR help, we can make this tour happen and many more tours to possibly come, across the United States.
From May 23, 2014 to May 25, 2014, we will be in San Francisco serving our Filipino fare to our fans who have supported us. There will be NO refunds or exchanges, and the packages that are purchased are non transferable and only redeemable at White Rabbit Truck during these dates. The reason why we selected the Kickstarter route is to create and develop a long-term relationship with a community of Filipino food lovers that love not only the food, but the journey as well. Throughout this process, we look forward to sharing updates with you to keep you in the loop and up to speed with regards to the San Francisco Bay Area Tour.
We humbly thank you for your continued support. We will make you proud through our continued growth and maturity as a company and will continue our mission of bringing awareness to the world of the goodness, known as Filipino fusion.
The White Rabbit Team
