2018 was our most successful campaign ever, and we are back for 2019 hoping to break that record once again!
This year, we will be at the 2019 Atlanta Pen Show from April 5th through 7th, which includes a live recording of The Pen Addict Podcast with Ana, Brad, and Myke on the evening of April 6th.
On top of that, we are heading across the country to the Bay Area to attend the 2019 San Francisco Pen Show from August 23rd to 25th. And that’s not all! For the first time, we will be recording a second live podcast on the tour. The San Francisco Pen Show promoters have graciously allocated space for us on Friday evening, the 23rd, to record in front of a live audience. We couldn’t be more excited!
Nock Co. is back once again with the campaign rewards, this time with a much requested case design. They are finally ready to release a stand-alone A5 pouch! While it will be similar in style and shape to the A5 case sold with the Lanier briefcase, there is an added feature we think you all will love: The case exterior will be made from waxed canvas.
This is a micro-weave waxed canvas which they have tested in small batches previously, and think it is a perfect match for this case. The interior will be made from the standard 400D pack cloth in Lime Green, and one of the interior pockets has been updated to include pen slots.
Below is the digital mock-up of the design, with pictures of the final prototype being added to the campaign in a week or two.
Update: The Burton Prototype has arrived! See this update for all of the details. Here are a few pics to get you started...
We are also adding in a fun Pen Addict-themed sticker sheet as part of the campaign this year at the $50 level, designed by the awesome Ana Reinert. We will add the digital mock-up of the sheet once Ana returns from the road trip of a lifetime out to Los Angeles.
Update: Check out the sticker sheet!
So, who is ready for an amazing 2019?
