Also: The Kickstarter is not preregistration for the event. Its intent is to drive funding to bring in special guests, and at some levels we are "thanking you" for your donation by offering a free Tribute or Career Registration. Regular registration will be available on the website after the Kickstarter has ended.
Victory Tour 2013 is a fan-created convention for the fans of The Hunger Games. It will be in North Carolina in summer 2013. It is an opportunity for the people that love this series to come together to celebrate and discuss the books, film, and characters that we love with people that feel as strongly as we do. The convention is in no way affiliated with Lionsgate, Scholastic, or Suzanne Collins.
Throughout the convention, we will bring our attendees, or Tributes, a range of activities from opening ceremonies to a fashion show, to educational and fun sessions, to fansite greetings, to our own light-hearted version of The Games, to the world premiere of The Hunger Games Musical and so much more. We are hoping to even bring some of the stars from the movies to greet the fans, sign autographs, and take pictures. But that's where we need your help!
How You Can Help
In order to invite the special guests to the convention, we must be willing to pay whatever finances are required. Most of your donations will go directly toward the costs to bring as many special guests to the event as we can get!
Any additional money we receive will go directly toward the event's atmosphere and keeping registration fees down. We want our Tributes to have a great experience, but have minimal funding for decorations. Some donations will go toward setting the atmosphere and making it feel more like the Districts, to fit with 2013's Victory Tour theme: Life in The Districts.

Whether you want to give $10 or $1000, you can get some really neat prizes for helping us. All rewards come with a unique "I'm A Sponsor" bracelet that will only be available through this Kickstarter. These bracelets will not be sold at the event, so this is your only chance to get one!
Note: For every $10 that you donate, you will get one entry into a drawing for a chance to attend an exclusive meet & greet with the special guests. $500 and $1000 level donations automatically attend. Must be registered and present at convention to win.
This original T-shirt design will only be sold through this Kickstarter and at the event. If you cannot make it to the actual event, this is a great opportunity to still get a piece of it with this one-of-a-kind Victory Tour 2013: Life In The Districts T-shirt.

Shylah Addante is another talented artist and huge fan of The Hunger Games. Admin from Down With the Capitol, she knitted a scarf for Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) when he was on Good Morning America. Josh wore the scarf for the rest of his time on the show. Now, Shylah is offering 20 of our sponsors one of her hand-knitted scarves. That's right: you can have a scarf just like Josh's!
When you donate $250 or more, beyond receiving the "I'm a Sponsor" bracelet and the Victory Tour t-shirt, your name will be listed in our Program Guide, recognizing you as a sponsor. You will also receive a full registration to the convention. This includes entrance into all events, a registrant goody bag (Orange backpack, anyone?), and one tesserae for entrance into the Reaping.
At a $500 donation level, you will receive the same prizes and recognition in the Program Guide, but with a Career Registration. Beyond the Full registration, Career registration includes front of the room seating in all major events, first selection in seating for the movie viewing, entrance into the Career Lounge throughout your time at the Convention, the Victory Tour 2013 T-shirt, two tesserae for entrance into the Reaping, and more. But even more, we are offering you one AUTOMATIC ENTRANCE into the meet & greet with the special guests that you helped us provide.
And at the $1000 donation, you get everything listed at the $500 level, with an ADDITIONAL PASS for that meet & greet. In addition, you will have your name printed on the Victory Tour 2013 t-shirt for people to see. It will be a constant reminder of your devotion to this fandom and to its fans, and how you helped this convention.
