Director's Notes

We put Bad Guy #2 online for the duration of this campaign. Then it goes away until after its fest run. It's had great success so far. Including it's world premiere at Fantastic Fest 2014. Hope you enjoy!

From the team that brought you Bad Guy #2 comes a comedy short film about a young metalhead who gets handed down a guitar by his metalhead dad who got it from his dad and so on and so on. This badass guitar comes with some rules though. And of course our irresponsible metalhead hero doesn't follow those rules and the carnage begins!

We have the same SFX team from Bad Guy #2 on board! The carnage we speak of is in the form of over-the top, practical effect driven, bloody craziness. Extreme to the point of comedy. We are gonna step it up even more this time. Right now the script calls for 8 different crazy practical effect set ups. If we get to the point of stretch goals we can add more. It'll be so worth it I promise!

Here's a picture of Bill & Ted. Because it's Bill and Ted!

Here are some early storyboards created by the very talented artist Caleb Sawyer.

The hand me down guitar has to be badass. It's been around for hundreds of years. We are toying with many possible looks and backstories for it. Here's some early concept art for it. We will add more here as the campaign goes on.

We are gonna need some long locks for our metalhead hero so he can headbang with the best of them. So some of the money will be going towards that. Just thought you guys would want to know. Metal Wig!
