About this project
FreshNeck was created to solve a simple problem - the traditional way of owning and wearing neckwear is stale and inefficient. Purchasing ties at retail prices is expensive, and wearing the same ties over and over again in a “rotation” is boring. Not to mention the inconvenience of going to the store to sort through hundreds of ties with only the help of a biased salesperson. The modern man deserves better.
With FreshNeck, guys can finally have access to designer accessories - ties, bowties, pocket squares, cufflinks, watches and more - in a convenient and affordable way. We combine top brands, style advice, recommendations, and unparalleled convenience, with modern technology to deliver a revolutionary experience that will change the way guys view their wardrobe.
With your help, we would like to expand our tie and watch inventory and market our brand so that everyone has access to quality ties and accessories, and so that we're able to keep our brand fresh, on-trend and ever-changing. We want our subscribers to feel like our site is a treasure trove, with new ties and accessories to hunt for every time they want to swap out their merchandise from home.
Risks and challenges
We've been in operation for a year and a half, and have experienced and overcome many stumbling blocks along the way. Through these experiences, we've learned how to deal with setbacks effectively. We know that we still have a way to go, and that there may be difficulties in the future, but we are certain that we're well-equipped to face these challenges.
Once we've been successfully funded, we will start investing in new inventory. We would have to be very selective when choosing this inventory, and would look at what merchandise our subscribers have enjoyed in the past so that we have a clear direction when it comes to buying.
As our customer base grows, we would need to increase our staff and create a logistics team that would handle packaging and shipping. We would then need to exponentially increase our inventory.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
