We beat Hurricaine Isaac - in a last ditch effort - by moving the ice sculpture up a day. We called the ACLU to help us negotiate a new date with the city, which thankfully worked. Mike Pheninger, President of ACLU-FL talked with the City Attorney on our behalf.

The ice sculpture went on without a hitch. We shared the park with FCAN, and Dogs Against Romney.

We were picked up by the Associated Press and news of the ice sculpture got in news outlets in the major markets of the country.

We shot a timelapse video of the sculpture melting away. It disappeared in a record 4 1/2 hours.

      If one minute = one year, then the sculpture lasted longer than the middle class and the economy would last if Romney and Ryan are elected.
