Paperwallet set out to create what was to become truly a breakthrough accessory. By fusing function, comfort and design, Paperwallet created a wallet that was paper-thin, ultra-durable and eco - friendly, using a material called Tyvek.
SLIM
Tyvek is an ultra-thin and ultra-durable material that allows us to create a wallet with 100% functionality that is really thin and very comfortable to be more in tune our everyday.
EXPANDABLE
Origami inspired, the wallet has been engineered to expand with use. Our head designer engineered the wallet to be folded in such a way that will allow the wallet to expand as you add to your wallet that keeps all of your needs in a wallet that is impossibly thin.

- Ingenious Origami Design – made from only 1 sheet without seams or stitches.
The wallet is made from Tyvek® which is a super strong, durable, and eco-friendly material made by Dupont. One sheet of Tyvek is printed, cut, folded and glued in origami fashion to create a wallet without any seams or stitches. The wallet is also reinforced with recyclable structural inserts that further strengthen the structure of the wallet and help it keep its shape.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
Product design team
designed the perfect wallet from a single piece of Tyvek.This template becomes the canvas for the
artist to design.
Through extensive collaborations with incredible artist from around the world, each wallet is fully customized.Each corner from the outside to the cash compartment is thought-out and designed by the artist.

THE TEAM
Elad Burko - An entrepreneur from New York with passion for art and product design.
Burko’s fascination started with wanting to know how things work, and at an early age he was disassembling and reassembling any product that struck his curiosity. Burko grew up in an artistic home and absorbed creativity from his family members. Being the least artistically talented of the bunch, Burko studied business and found a way to combine his teachings with his love for art and product design in the creation of the Paperwallet brand and platform for artists.
Gilli Cherrin - An academic with a passion for people, the environment, and giving back to society.
In Gilli’s view there are many subcultures in society today and they are making their own mind up about what they like and are not accepting the status quo of yesterday.He believes this will created demand for more creative and unique products and brands that will lead the way in tomorrow’s marketplace.Gilli’s vision is to create such a brand with innovative products that will serve as a platform for artists around the globle to do what they love and live off of it.
Risques et défis
Since we've already developed the final version of the wallet, and have the master design files from the artists, the main risks are a possible delay with the production time, and unexpected problems with attaining the the raw materials.
But… To be honest, there is a very tiny possibility that any of that will happen. With our years of experience, strong connections and know-how of the manufacturing processes we’re here to guarantee the timeline, schedule, and of course the Product!
And who knows, if we work hard and with a little luck, we might even be ready to ship the wallets ahead of schedule.
