Hi Everyone!

A big sincere THANK YOU to all those who have contributed to our project! It has been a crazy and exciting 3 days for us here at the NanoLight. It's absolutely incredible to see so many people believing in us and backing this product. We have finally reached our goal and are excited to start mass production of the NanoLight. In the meantime, please continue to help us spread the word!

We will begin manufacturing immediately since we have reached our $20,000 goal and we want to be able to support as many backers as possible. The NanoLights will be shipped out in the order that the pledges were received so for all of you that have backed our project, you guys will be our first priority! We've already started ordering the components we need and we're grateful to all of you for making this a reality.

We have also decided to start working on a dimmable version of the NanoLight. We are hoping to be able to add that as an additional reward option before the end of our project, so those of you interested in pledging for one can have a chance to update your pledge.

In the mean time, please follow us on twitter @theNanoLight for periodic updates and info, and please Like our Facebook page!

Once again, we just wanted to thank everyone for being so supportive, it means the world to us. Together we can make the move towards a brighter and more energy efficient future! ;)

2013/Jan/07C: "To get multiples of lightbulbs, simply just increase the pledge amount [in multiples of the pledge amount] and we will ask you the desired amount during the survey process"

Congrats! All those suggestions for added features are interesting but would definitely increase development, design, manufacturing & logistics costs so best to KISS (keep it short/sweet & simple). Dimmable option is good enough.
Another thing is once you go into China to try & reduce costs be prepared for intellectual property issues, etc. Don't be surprised if you see clones of your design being sold already! Good luck! :)

If you want another bulb you can always create another kickstarter account and pledge again. All you need is another email address. If you don't have one you can always get a free one at yahoo or any of several similar free places. That's what I do!

How about we want to pledge for more than one 12W NanoLight?

great project, can't wait to get my hands on it.
remote control/wifi/android would be sweet, but a separate solution to the light is preferred, like some other kickstarter projects are doing :)

Ohh, I see what you did there Chris; while I like the goal, IMHO, i'm guessing that the streach goal will have to be way higher than the current one to get that. If it happens I'm definitely upping my pledge to make sure I get in on that.

Although, I'm still very curious to see what the dimmable bulb goal will be, as well as other things they may be thinking up, which might be something relative the original goal; the stuff in between that and a BT enabled smartphone-control app bulb.

Any chance a dimmable version would be X10 compatible?

Stretch goal, the dimmable lamp version is updated for smart phone remote control.

Great work guys !! Have you thought about setting up a stretch goal? Perhaps ability to change colours and be controlled from an iPhone/Smartphone ??? If my feeling isn't wrong, this project got the potential to get close to a million dollars, All the best for now everyone!! Can't wait for my nanolight!!
