With Your Help, The Garden Deck will Come Alive
We're asking for your help today to print the E8 Garden Deck. Born out of a passion for Design & Healthy living, we wanted to create an original piece that sheds awareness on the magic and beauty of Vegetables and need your pledge to bring it to life.
The Age of the Vegetable Is Upon Us
It’s time to Veg Out! And by that we mean it’s time to celebrate vegetables and how far they’ve come. Vegetables are the “it” ingredients of contemporary cuisine. We procure these healthful, natural treasures from farm stands and greenmarkets and enjoy them everywhere at juice bars, around the family dining table, and in the hottest restaurants, where chefs cook them into their latest signature dishes.
E8 Garden Deck
The E8 Garden Deck commemorates our collective love for vegetables and further raises awareness of their healthful qualities by making them the focus of a stunning deck of graphic playing cards. Whatever your game—poker, blackjack, or even solitaire—when you play with the E8 Garden Deck, every hand is a winning one, reminding you of the great taste and healthful benefits of vegetables.

Who is Eight Communications?
We’re a band of vegetable-loving creatives who run a boutique design shop in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district. Some of us dine out on a daily basis; others ride their bikes to work, and everywhere else. Vegetables are the place where all of our interests, passions, and lifestyles intersect. They are the ultimate win-win food, combining healthful benefits with incredible, natural flavor.

Risks and challenges
The E8 VEGGIE DECK has already been designed. Now, the main risk is delivering high quality playing cards production and printing. To offset this risk, we have partnered with the best of vendors including the United States Playing Card Company. We've also carefully reviewed other projects on Kickstarter to improve the process and make sure all our funders receive quality awards for helping us promote this campaign.
