Several months ago, Darkraven Games (a subsidiary of Ruby Nile Games) launched the successfulDarkraven Fantasy Soundscapes. Since then, it has sold over 400 copies and been picked up for distribution by a publisher. It was followed by the 260+ backer Cthulhu Soundscape. Now, Darkraven launches the anticipated Science Fiction Soundscapes. Featuring 36+ high quality 256 kbps MP3 soundscapes for your science fiction and cyberpunk needs, Darkraven Science Fiction Soundscapes follows in the tradition of its predecessor. As with the successful Darkraven Fantasy Soundscapes, most SciFi tracks are a solid 15 minutes long to reduce the amount of looping your players have to put up with. All products are delivered via digital download with DropSend.
Here are a few samples from the project. Listen to dozens of additional free samples below.

We have absolutely no experience with epic science fiction film franchises, but we are pretty sure $220 million is about what it would cost to knock one out. Indulge us! :) Besides, we really would love to meet Keira Knightly. And if we can't get her, we'll take Candice Swanepoel -- we're sure she would do just fine in a major motion picture role. Oh. We should probably make it completely clear that neither Keira Knightly or Candice Swanepoel have anything to do with this project. Nor do they endorse it in any way, shape, or form. Darn.
We are a team of musicians, sound designers, and engineer who work in Miami, Florida and are looking forward to bringing you our vision of what sound design for fantasy games can be like. Funds raised on Kickstarter will be used to purchase additional samples and improve the array of sounds and expand the line in future releases -- as well as expand the business. By funding us, you will help us create one or two supplements to this product line in the future.

Risks and challenges
With digital distribution of the product, there are few large risks or challenges associated with the project. Darkraven Fantasy Soundscapes and Darkraven Cthulhu Soundscapes were delivered by digital download on time and successfully. We expect the same to happen here. We also think that by committing to delivery by February of 2014, we can guarantee our backers and customers a quality product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
