Just wanted to add my voice to those who have already praised this product. It works very well, and it looks great. Very satisfied with my dice tower.

Received my Unique Dice Towers this morning. Very very pleased with them. Exactly as advertised. Well done and congratulations to John and his family for their work in getting these built and delivered so promptly.
@John Redman. I'll try to keep an eye on your site for when you introduce new lines, but if there's anyway for you to send out a quick email should you come out with new designs, I'd like to be kept informed.

Thanks for the great videos and spins! I'd love to add some more! What games are you playing?

Brought mine to the company board game night & it went over well. I especially liked that since it's so small it's easy to pass around with the dice (& that guy who likes to toss dice all over the place & mess up the board even liked using it :D ).
Any ideas about temporarily securing the base to the tower for passing it around at a game like that? Best thought I had was a strip or 2 of velcro on the bottom of the tower part, but not sure if it would be thin enough for fitting well when in storage.

    12. Vince Matanguihan on August 27, 2012

I'm eagerly awaiting mine and am excited to hear all the praises! Been playing Zombicide for the past 2 weeks and the table is just big enough to hold the game and character cards. This should eliminate the errant dice off the table we get every few tosses. :)

      Hi John,

Thank you SOOO much, mine arrived in Japan. Thank you for all the goodies. These are really amazing, and beautiful. Can't stop looking at them. They totally make me want to play games with dice. I love how compact these are, Amazing!!!! The dice towers really made my day :)

I made an Unboxing video, I hope you guys can enjoy it.

Received an email this evening that my Dice Towers are on their way! Very eager to see them in the flesh and try them out.

    15. Mustard on August 22, 2012

I do have one question though: I requested unassembled, but it came assembled. It feels like it is glued together, does this mean I can't paint it?

    16. Mustard on August 22, 2012

I received my dice tower today! Looks great and works great as well.

      THANK YOU!

Received my dice tower today (near Atlanta, USA) and immediately had to show my father - a woodworker of some 40 years - what a beautiful job you did. Every time I went to put it away, one of us picked it back up to admire it again. Thanks so much!

Hi everyone... I am here and still cutting dice towers! This is still a three steps forward, one step back process but a lot of things have been smoothed out. Funny how the laser never wants to stay in focus... We have just under 100 dice towers to cut to meet the September fufilment date. With our current cut rate we are on track! Thank god my wife and her family is helping! I only have time to cut while she assembles and ships!

Never be reluctant of branding. Just adding your website is not really advertising. The product and the user of the product will advertise enough if the product is good enough (yours far exceeds what I was expecting and is a great quality item). I love mine and have already encouraged a few others to look into getting one.

    29. Mauro Reis on July 12, 2012

Got my towers, absolutely love them. I also had the impression they would be a bit bigger, but the actual size is perfect, very portable. Thanks so, so much for making them, I had been looking for a nice dice tower for a while before I found this project.

I like the idea of the url being on one of the slats or on the bottom of the tower. Not that I won't be telling every gamer I know already...

    31. John Redman 3-time creator on July 11, 2012

Thanks Joseph. I was reluctant to put advertising on the dice tower. I kind of liked the pure look of the tower. I did think of hiding the URL on one of the slats though! I was also hoping to be found through a tenacious google search. :)

I would like to know others opinions on this. Thanks!

As a suggestion, maybe you should put the store website address on the bottom of the towers so people who admire them can visit and buy their own.

Got my ply tower (ready to be stained ) messenger bag and die w/ dice bag down here in Australia - love it thank you very much

    34. Holly Cook on July 8, 2012

I got my padauk dice tower under a week ago and used it at my Friday night D&D game. Since we're playing high-level 3.5, I use a LOT of books when I DM, and often end up with them spread all over my lap and my table. Needless to say, my dice tended to end up on the floor often as not when I was rolling for my monsters. This Friday? No dice escaped my dice tower tray, no player could see my results until I called them out, and there was much admiration of the cut-out design by all. I passed along your webpage to the group, because they liked it so. Thanks so much, John! :)

    35. John Redman 3-time creator on July 3, 2012

@Wally: I currently plan on keeping the store active assuming I can keep my costs down.
@James: I am looking for a plugin that will allow people to upload pictures. I would love to see what you have done and how everyone is using their tower. Let me know if you have any plugin suggestions.
Sandra and I are very happy to hear all the positive comments. Thanks and keep them coming! We have a lot more dice towers to cut and encouragement keeps us going!

    36. Wally on July 2, 2012

My towers look amazing! Do you plan on keeping the store going in the future or starting an etsy account to continue selling? A lot of my gamers were interested in getting their own.

Nice, I just got mine today. Ive already put a coat of purple stain on my padauk and it looks amazing. I have to wait for at least another coat or 2 before i can assemble it but it looks great. Have you thought about starting something up where we can post pictures of our towers for others to see what different types of stains would look like on the wood?

I got my misfit dice tower in too! Poplar and utterly adorable. Amazing how small they are in person, but so much delightful fun!

I'm actually having a game day on Saturday, and I think I'm going to make this little baby first prize while I wait for my personalized tower. :D

    41. TheGusman on June 26, 2012

Yeah, they look much bigger in the pictures, but I like the small size, will fit perfectly in the gaming box!!!

I just got the "Misfit" Dice Tower I ordered. It was a Red Oak one, as far as I can tell the only imperfection (other than a slightly dirty window), is that the side window design is different. I am extremely happy with the tower. Excellent work.

You accurately described the height, but for some reason I didn't expect it to be so tiny. I like the size though. Thanks, John.

    43. TheGusman on June 26, 2012

What great towers, got my misfits today (I'm given those to the kids :) )

Daddy's getting the hardwood!!! Usually every third throw my seven year olds dice ends up on the floor and then in the dogs mouth, no more !!!

    44. Neil Day on June 25, 2012

Yup got mine today as well. So stoked :) Works like a charm. 2nd on what Scott said. Can't wait to use it at our next gaming session. Throwing dice is soooo 2011. :-)

Wow, I received mine today. The Macacuba looks awesome! John even included a free 20 sided die. The tower works great, the die lands nicely and seems unlikely that it could bounce out just as promised. Thanks for an awesome product!
