Community Update : Introducing The Chronicles of the Order

Posted by Precursor Games (Creator)

It is with great pleasure that we unveil some of the first community driven content for Shadow of the Eternals, showcasing the enthusiasm and creative spirit of our supporters and collaborators.

Under the guidance and diligent work of Phil Haymes, Danielle Mahoney and Sean, the Order have created an e-zine highlighting the creative efforts of its first months, along with interviews and articles, featuring the brain essence of:

Hexterah, ALonelyWeeaboo, Marc N. Kleinhenz, CORE.Axiom, Sergio Aceveda

It looks great and bodes well for the future! Congrats to all and thank you for your contributions!

This is very cool, and a nice little freebie to backers for sure. I certainly wish you guys' luck, even if I question this whole thing. Why did I pledge some money then? Because this isn't "The Denis Dyack Show" - a lot of people have written this off because of one guy; no one even cares to think about the other employees at Precursor, how talented they are, or what they're bringing to the table, and that's sad.
I personally think you guys should've established Precursor a bit before attempting something this ambitious. Y'know; some mobile games, or some digital games for Steam, eShop and PSN or whatnot. Prove that you guys can make games on time and on-budget. Games that people like, that are good. Any ex-Silicon Knights presence there just puts doubt in people's minds that you can do this. You really should've established your company a bit better before tackling Shadows of the Eternal, in my opinion. For that reason, I'm not pledging a lot of money, but it can't hurt to throw some your way.

      Best of luck guys!
