Thank you pledges!

We here at Precursor Games would like to thank everyone who were involved in supporting, developing and promoting Shadow of the Eternals and its Kickstarter campaign.

We are grateful to those who not only backed this project, but also those who stood behind us every step of the way on this adventurous journey. The Order of the Unseen actively collaborated with us to create Shadow of the Eternals, and unwaveringly campaigned to help bring the game to life. When we began, we never imagined that we would meet so many amazing and creative people. Our community made this venture entirely worth it. Thank you for everything.

We would also like to thank our partners, whom without their support we would not have been able to launch this crowd-funding campaign: We would like to thank David Hayter for his collaboration and lending his voice acting talent to Shadow of the Eternals. To Reverb, for their tireless efforts in helping promote our game and crowdfunding campaign. To AMD and Crytek, for their technology and business partnerships and making them very worthwhile. Ray Muzyka for his endorsement of us and Shadow of the Eternals.

After we take a one week break, we will be upgrading the forum software to help improve the experience of our community. The Order forums will remain open for all those who have pledged on the Kickstarter for the next few weeks.

It is unfortunate that we were unable to crowd-fund this project at this time, but we have not given up. We intend to pursue other avenues with the ultimate goal of having our games come to fruition. Please feel free to migrate over to our Community Forums at, as we will be keeping our forums open for people to enjoy and discuss everything Precursor Games.

Having game made only for PC and Wii U was a problem. Wii U was biggest problem. I think of making your game to be on PS4 and Xbox One and drop Wii U.

Nintendo is the answer. even if you dont earn much you guys would ROCK!

Maybe if you could get a re-release of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's requiem that could drive up interest for your next go around.

You gave it your best shot.

A lot of great concept art materialized during this round. Whatever shape, form, and funding model this game adopts before it finally materializes, you can count me in.

Good luck with whatever project you will end up working. If you come up with something similar to this, my wallet is ready :).

Its a shame with Double Fine and so many other game devs running into problems its making people reluctant to fund atm :/ But you can count on me as well to back you when you have another go! Is there a possibility of bringing back the ability to fund on your web site?

    8. Elizabeth Howder on

I really hope you find a way to get this funded! If you try crowd sourcing again I will definitely be back.

    9. David Wagaman

I'll be around when and however this game comes out. One way or another you will have my money!

Third time's a charm. Let's make it happen. Everybody fund 2x times the original amount. I want to play this game so bad.

I really hope you get funded somehow and I will support you in an instant if you ever try the crowd funding route again.

I guess you have to ask yourselves - could you make a game that does ED justice if we all gave $300,000 again? I'm really not sure that would be enough - shame as in 1 yr time a WiiU game would be ideal territory to then build to the Next Gen systems. I wish you all luck.

    13. James Closs on

Keep me on y'alls mailing lists, I'll definitely get the game when it comes out.

I've met so many great people on the forums! I am certain that one way or another, this game will be made.

That's too bad. Here's to hoping you find another way to make Shadow of the Eternals!

Thank you PG, for daring to try something a little different, for attempting to create a unique experience and involving us all in that process. It is incredible how much negativity you had to put up with and you didn't once let that stop you from giving it your best. Its sad to see this project not reach its conclusion, but it is encouraging to hear that you will not let it die and will continue to explore ways of making it a reality. Whenever the game surfaces and in whatever form, you can count on us to be the first to buy it ^_^

I am a huge fan of Eternal Darkness. It was my favorite GameCube game and I always told my friends they should play it. I really want Shadow of the Eternals to get made and be successful just like ED. If you guys create another campaign, I'll be behind it 100%. Hope this game gets the attention it deserves from the gaming community. Keep it up Precursor Games, your future is too bright to give up :-)

I'm sorry we could not raise enough funds, even with increasing our pledges.

It is good news to hear you are not giving up. This game really should be made, and I think you understand as much as we want.

Was a huge Eternal Darkness fan, found out about this by accident near the end of the campaign. If we can get the word out, i bet we can succeed. Hope this gets made, i wantses it

PG, thanks so much guys, it's a shame we couldn't make it.
      Count me in next time.
