About

The specialty will be regional gourmet sandwiches from around the country, and nostalgic/retro and regional favorite beverages to accompany these special sandwiches.  What do you mean by "regional sandwiches", you ask? Well, a handful of examples are Lobster Roll, Italian Beef, Cuban, Cheesesteak, Po'Boy, Rueben, Elvis, Fried Bologna.... I think you get the picture. We will have 5 sandwiches as the "go-to's" of the food truck, and will have a weekly or daily special that changes all the time. If you have a favorite sandwich that you would like to see us feature, please feel free to make a suggestion.

The kickstart money will go toward the purchase of the truck and equipment. I will be paying out of pocket for the necessary permits, licenses, and ingredients/supplies to get started. I have over ten years of experience in the food service and restaurant industry, to include management of time, money, labor, and facilities. I am a professional chef and my southern-born fiancée is an exceptional home cook. We plan to own and operate the food truck as a family business. Risks and challenges

The greatest risk that TGS could face is the inability to stay sustainable and profitable, due to lack of customer base. We plan to overcome this by using social networking to keep our customers and potential customers connected and updated on TGS happenings and planned locations. We also plan to:
Partner up with bars/taverns
Sell at special events around the city
Sell at popular locations and tourist attractions
Sell at food truck events
Strategically locate to busy places during high foot traffic times
Offer catering for private events
