Update #7: New Interview and Twitch Stream
I'm going to call it now, we're in the home stretch! We're officially over $550k now, which leaves just $149,263 to go. Keep it up!!
To celebrate hitting yet another milestone, and the fact that Halloween is but a few days away, we have a special message from Harry Manfredini himself! Follow the link below to watch it!
As always, thank you all for the support! Please keep spreading the word about the Kickstarter! Our boy Jason loves you for it!
New Interview: Harry Manfredini & Wes Keltner
Harry Manfredini and Wes Keltner talk with Adam Sessler about the soundscape of the Friday the 13th series. Have you ever wondered why you get so scared at certain parts of movies? Harry explains how he likes to go about scaring filmgoers and how that will translate into the development of the sound effects and music for the Friday the 13th: The Game. Just what does it sound like inside of Jason's head?
The next interview will go live on Friday, and will feature the man himself, the original director of Friday the 13th, Sean S. Cunningham. You'll definitely want to come back to the page to watch this one!
Twitch Live Stream - Killing Time 3DO
Join me tomorrow as I stream a classic horror title on a retro console! I've decided to hook up a 3DO this week (because why not?) and pop in a copy of Killing Time (seems appropriate).
We'll be talking about underdog video game systems from the 90's, chatting about Friday the 13th: The Game and I'll even answer some of your questions that you may have.
I'll toss the stream up tomorrow at 1pm EST/10am PST. Just a heads up, the link for the stream will be - http://www.twitch.tv/fridaythe13thgame
You might as well just follow us on Twitch since we're going to keep doing these streams, even once the Kickstarter campaign completes. Why you ask? Well we say, "Why the hell not?" So there... Just follow!
Team Pick: The Nullpoint
We like to highlight projects that are doing some great things in other genres, and in this case multiple genres. Schell Games is hard at work on "The Nullpoint", a squad-based tactical RTS rogue-like RPG that takes place on an abandoned alien structure floating in deep space on the edge of the solar system. It's got a creepy horror/sci-fi vibe reminiscent and is already looking to be a lot of fun.
Make some time to check out their Kickstarter and to try their prototype.
Don't forget to check back Friday for another update and interview. A big thanks to all of our commenters keeping things lively. We love reading all of the comments, so keep it up!
Tune in tomorrow for the Twitch Stream and keep sharing your love of all things 'Jason' with the world!
