Thank You!

Hello Kickstarter Supporters!

I have been updating FAQs, comments, and responding to individual messages, but I wanted to take this time to write a general update at the suggestion at one of the backers (thanks Ash).

First of all, thank you all for backing this project! You have made this project a success and I’m excited about moving forward. Once the KS project ends, I will continue to make updates at least every two weeks or more often if there is big news to share. When the project ends, I’ll be sure to create an audio or video update and include some photos. For now, at least I want to post this written update.

I will also continue to discuss the watch and the project on Facebook at www.facebook/ Please “like” the page to stay in touch!

Manufacturing is going well. I’m expecting to ship out watches to each of you in November. I started this process long before I started the Kickstarter project, which is why I had a prototype of the watch as well as the packaging. Therefore, everything is in production and will be done in the next 60 days. We all know those timelines can change and I will be sure to update you right away if there are any delays.

The website is well underway and will likely be completed in early November. However, I will not launch the website until I’ve sent all you your watches. I will continue to post little images of the website as they are completed on the Facebook page. I have a programmer standing by to finish it as soon as the design is complete. I’m really exited about the site. I think you’ll see it rivals the sites of some of the top industry watch brands. The user manual will based on the design of the site and will be completed and printed as soon as the site is competed. It should all be coming together at the same time.

As you may have seen, I’ll continue to release watches to the KS project in groups of 10 for higher prices. There is a limit to how many I’m willing to let go at the KS prices and I can see it will be just about right. Thanks again to all you early supporters.

HERE’S THE BIG NEWS! Because of your feedback, I’m moving forward quickly with a black silicon band option. It was something I had on the drawing board and since this KS project is going well, I should have something available on the project this week! It will only be a technical drawing, as I won’t even have time to get a prototype made before the KS project ends. However, I’ll show you the technical drawings and make it a reward option. It will be a totally branded strap, featuring a debossed ANSTEAD down one side and the arrowhead logo on the other. The buckle will be brushed stainless to match the watch, and the buckle will have the engraved arrowhead logo. I should have it on the KS project list soon.

Stay tuned for more updates. And thanks again!!!

Still waiting for the black silicon strap to be a reward option!

Yes i concur, a black silicon strap will make this look really hardy and sporty. stainless steel clasp bracelet strap will also be sick, for the all metal feel. Tom, i really cant wait to get hold of this watch. it looks really good and i hope that when it arrives in my mailbox, it will still wow me.

A black silicon strap will be bomb with this watch - So glad to hear it's an option!

It would be great, as you add band options (e.g. the black silicon) if we could ADD that to our existing watch. i.e. Get the watch we signed up for PLUS an extra band (and that option's price), be is silicon or stainless or both.

Other band options will definitely be coming. There is a lot to get done, so that might be a little while. I certainly want to do a stainless option and I’ll do at as soon as I can. At least I wanted to get the silicon option out there before this KS project came to an end. Thanks for the feedback!

A brushed stainless bracelet would be ideal, especially with a Seiko style button release clasp with the Anstead logo on it. Maybe as an accessory down the track? Glad to hear you're doing a silicon strap though, much much better for me whilst working than the leather is. Amazed this is going so well Tom, can't wait to see your next design.

I'd like to see a brushed stainless band as well (maybe as a replacement set), looks more classy then a silicon band in my opinion. I like the leather band a lot, but I'm already considering to replace it with a custom made ostrich or polished stingray leather band to make it even look more exclusive and more classy.

Would you consider a black version of the leather band? I think that would look really slick!
