This is AFAR
Hey everyone. We are Tabulit, and we are back for our second anthology. AFAR.
To briefly introduce, we are a Canadian Art Collective based in Montreal. Tabulit started out as a digital publishing startup, but as we increasingly explored ways to help our creators, we reorganized to become an art collective.
Our new anthology, AFAR, will be about distance between people, and how that distance shapes the nature of relationships, whether it's romance, friendship, or family. We always think of our relationships to each other in proximity more naturally, but how much do we really think about how being apart from each other affects us? This book intends to explore that, in all aspects.
This project is very special, in that we've finally brought our writers and artists back together on a single platform, and that this marks our new beginning as an art collective. This has been a long time coming with more than 20 artists and writers on the project.
Below is a preview of some of the comics.
The Project Details
Like FURR, AFAR will be a 6 x 9 book with more than 125 pages of comics and short stories about the theme of distance.
We are raising $6,500 CAD, in order to fund the production, printing, and the delivery of the book. This is roughly the breakdown of the costs.
