The clock strikes midnight and all the evil things in the world come full sway, lost souls are falling under the Count's horrifying spell and one thing remains certain - Dracula must be destroyed.
Bram Stroker's Dracula is a double sized, 148mm by 210mm A5 concertina book illustrated by Lyndon White. All the books will be signed and numbered as a limited print run.
UPDATE: now that the Kickstarter has hit the 3rd stretch goal I am going to be illustrating Dante Alighieri's Inferno. All Kickstarter backers will be sent a copy along with their chosen rewards. I'll be updating the Kickstarter as and when I finish sections of the book.
If you want to add a second copy of Inferno to your chosen reward, simply add an extra £6 to your chosen pledge.
Also know as an accordion book, concertinas are made from a long sheet of paper that is then folded between two covers. They can either expand outward and kept flat or be read like a normal book. Concertinas tell a story through a series of illustrations that work together to build a complete narrative.
The book serves a duel purpose. It can either sit on your bookshelf as a normal book, or be folded out and display as a piece of artwork.
Dracula is one of my favourite books and a classic piece of literature. Last year I sketched out an idea for cover illustration (which became the cover of the concertina book). Since then, the illustration has been sold at prints across art events in the UK and I've had countless people asking me to illustrate more of my version of Dracula. This is my way of giving people what they've been asking for, while also creating something unique for your bookshelf.
Abraham "Bram" Stoker is an Irish author best known for his gothic novel Dracula and has been a published writer since 1872.
Lyndon White is a UK illustrator and comic artist. Working with a range of mix media, his work is described as surreal, atmospheric and has a dream like quality. Working as a writer / illustrator, he has contributed to over thirty publications working within the UK comic industry.
Know to others as Vladimir the Impalerr, Dracula is centuries old and takes residency in Transylvania.
I've already spent the time creating the artwork, contacting printers, working out costs and preparing the book for print. As it stands I've taken no payment for any of the illustration work and won't be taking any from the Kickstarter. I just need help to raise the money to cover the printing costs.
If you want to add addition copies of Dracula (or Inferno) concertina to your chosen reward, simply add an addition £6 per book.

This is a smaller scale project that has been a labour of love while working on bigger books. As I continue creating things for you all, thank you for all your support. Dracula is one of my favourite stories and has been a pleasure to work on and illustrate for you.
Risks and challenges
Every time I use Kickstarter I make sure I have a finished product. Dracula no exception. I've already been working with the printer and everything is ready to print once the Kickstarter is finished. I've been part of a number of Kickstarters such as A Tale of Shadows, Lost & Found and a number of comics from Blue Fox Comics, all of which have been successfully funded.
The deadline in getting the book to you all is May 2017, which gives me plenty of time to get the books sent out to you all.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
