The goal of this campaign is to expand our existing line of World War II products by adding many of the iconic tanks and armored vehicles used by the Axis and Allied forces on the Western Front.
Why You Should Back This Project
We are aware that other miniatures manufacturers offer their own versions of most of these tank designs, but that does not deter us. We feel that having these models in our range is an important step for Trenchworx as it will broaden the selection of quality models we are able to offer to our loyal customers, as well as lay the groundwork for many other vehicle designs produced during the war.
For those of you thinking of adding a new army to your collection, this is a perfect opportunity to bulk up the backbone of your armored forces. Or maybe you already own most of these models, but like us, you can’t stop yourself from buying more!
What You'll Get
What do we have on offer this time around? We have the initial 11 designs completed. Of that, 9 of them are already printed and ready for molding. The remaining 2 are in the queue. Stretch goals will include planned designs that are not yet completed. We also have some fun stuff to throw in the mix.

We are offering a pledge-by-quantity system that allows you to pledge simply by the number of tanks that you want—regardless of the design (or designs) you want. As the quantity you order increases, the individual price per model will decrease, so higher pledge amounts will get you more for your buck. This system alleviates the need for multiple or “add on” pledges unless you want 11-19 or 21+ models (in which case we are more than happy to accommodate you).
The following chart shows our planned retail pricing and also details the discount that you will receive on each model by backing this Kickstarter. Discounts improve across the board as you move up in pledge levels.
We will be shipping all pledges worldwide free of charge.
To save space and cost (so we can offer these tanks at such a great price), all models will be individually wrapped and packed in bulk with all the necessary parts and instructions. No fancy packaging, just great value.
Stretch Goals & Bonuses
Each Stretch Goal achieved will either make a new vehicle design available for you to choose from or unlock a bonus perk. Please note that the free rewards apply only to the Stretch Goals marked as a BONUS
Coasters [Bonus at $8,000]
The coasters we made for our previous Kickstarter projects have always been well received so it wouldn't be proper if we left them out this time.
M18 Hellcat [Available]
At $10k the Allies will get more tank hunting power in the form of an M18 Hellcat tank destroyer.
StuG III G [Available at $12,000]
Who doesn't love the Sturmgeschütz III assault gun? Its one of our favorites and will be unlocked at $12k.
M4A1 Sherman (75) [Available]
The M4A1 Sherman with its cast hull is one of the most recognizable pieces of equipment in the Allied motor pool.
Tank Commanders [BONUS at $16,000]
On our last Kickstarter project we dipped our toes into casting metal parts for our tanks. This time around we’re giving figures a try. To start off, if we reach $16k we will include a set of tank commanders and crew to add to your open hatches.
Tiger I [Available at $18,000]
To the allied tankers, every German tank was a Tiger. This one actually is, and will be available at $18k.
M4A2 Sherman (76) [Available at $20,000]
Who doesn’t want variety in their collection? At $20k the M4A2 Sherman chassis will be available as an option for your pledge.

The humble Stuart light tank is another favorite at the Trenchworx studio. We’re very excited to add this one to the mix when we reach $22k.

Not quite a Tiger, but with all the killing power. Available at $24k.

The pesky M24 Chaffee will be available at $26k.

Social Media Stretch Goals
We have to confess that we are a little late to the social media game. We launched our Facebook page a few months back and have had a steadily growing stream of new followers each week. As part of this Kickstarter campaign, we've decided to add a few Social Media Stretch Goals to boost the number of page "Likes" on our Facebook Page.
Objective Markers [BONUS at 500 Facebook Page Likes] Unlocked!
When our Facebook page reaches 500 page "Likes" all pledges that qualify for Bonus rewards will receive a set of themed Objective Markers.
Sherman 105 [Available at 750 Facebook Page Likes]
When our Facebook page reaches 750 page "Likes" our Sherman 105 turret will be converted to resin and a Sherman 105 will be available as a tank selection.

When our Facebook page reaches 1,000 page "Likes" our Sherman Calliope turret will be converted to resin and a Sherman Calliope will be available as a tank selection.
About Our Models
Our models are designed as 28mm (1/56 scale) miniatures commonly used in tabletop war games
Our products are of the highest quality and easy to assemble. We do not use mold release on our resin so there is no need for excessive washing prior to painting.
Here are a few links to reviews or our models.
Our Experience With Kickstarter
For those who are unfamiliar with our previous projects, we have successfully completed two Kickstarter campaigns in the past two years, Tanks of WWI in 28mm and Tanks in Manchuria (1932-1945) in 28mm. With the help of 276 backers across the two projects we were able to design, print and resin cast a large assortment of 28mm vehicles to use in their favorite tabletop miniature games. Each of our projects were completed and delivered on time with many people receiving their rewards well ahead of schedule.
Risks and challenges
Design of Products: Can we design the products in time for shipment?
At the launch of this project designs for the initial eleven vehicles are complete. Nine of them have also been printed and are in various stages of the molding process. The digital models for all of the stretch goals are expected to be complete by July which leaves us a good amount of time to print, mold, cast and post the orders by our expected ship date.
Of course, there's always the chance that the project could end up a lot more "successful" than anticipated. If we significantly overshoot what we expect to achieve, then it may be necessary to push back the delivery date.
While we plan for the best, unanticipated problems tend to arise at the worst possible moment. Production delays, shipping delays, earthquakes, and fire breathing space rats are a very real possibility. We believe that openness and honesty are very important during a Kickstarter project and we will do our best to keep our backers updated and informed at every step of the process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
