About this project
Wouldn't it be great to give everyone a special experience you can't find anywhere else?
The problem with today is that everything is moving at such a fast pace that we never stop to "smell the roses." We would like to bring back the nostalgia of the 1950's, where quality service was standard.
Our Project Is Unique But Simple!
- Bring back an old American experience.
- Hand-produce organic and vegan ice cream.
How are we unique?
Well, we will be the only ice cream truck that we know of in the USA that not only runs on waste vegetable oil for fuel, but offers organic and vegan ice cream! All dairy ingredients are sourced locally from Straus farms in Sonoma County and everything added is organic, no preservatives and made fresh right in front of you! We utilize liquid nitrogen's freezing qualities to allow us to make your ice cream from a liquid cream base to creamy and delicious ice cream in seconds. We have over 10 different flavors and counting.
Organic - Cold Fusion Ice Cream:
Dark chocolate 75% Cacao
Super Dark chocolate w/ sea salt 85% cacao!
Sweet and hot hibiscus
Green tea mint chocolate
Mint chocolate chunk
Vegan Cold Fusion Ice Cream:
Chocolate chunk coconut
Cinnamon toast ice cream
We will also be testing a diabetic friendly recipe with an organic stevia base (for sweetener)
Not to mention we wear a full milkman uniform with the captains hat , bow tie, white pants and shined black shoes while we fill your order!
Is liquid nitrogen safe?
Nitrogen is an inert gas that surrounds us at all times. In fact, 78% of the breath you just took was nitrogen and only 20% oxygen! When nitrogen is compressed and condensed into it a liquid, it reaches -320F NOW THAT IS COLD!!! The only risk you have is letting the ice cream melt because you didn't eat it fast enough!
First goal: $8,000 - This will be a life changing achievement not just for everyone involved with this project, but for any child or family given the chance to experience a unique ice cream truck like this. We wish we had this to remember as kids, help us give it to children today! Reaching this goal will allow us to finish fabrication of the cryogenics inside the truck for safety and complete the stainless surfaces inside so we meet all health department requirements. It will also allow us to purchase a better portion-controlled cream dispenser and allow us to purchase all of our supplies before launch date.
Second goal: $12,000 - This will allow us to convert the brakes in our vehicle from drum to disc, for better safety. It will also allow us to purchase a large 5-foot ice cream cone to be placed on top of the vehicle!
Third goal: $15,000 - If we can reach this amount, we will be able to partner with a local coffee shop in downtown Vacaville, CA allowing us to have a spot inside effectively giving us a brick and mortar spot!

Risks and challenges
The challenges we have are few but important. We have developed a good relationship with our county health department. However, because we technically create ice cream in our truck, we are subject to milk and dairy licensing. The only worry we have is the departments taking longer than expected to give us final approvals. If this happens, it won't stop us. We plan on operating all year. In winter months, we will offer coffee flavored ice cream and hot beverage options!
Our biggest risk is without help funding our project, it will be a very long time before anyone will experience our one of a kind business.
